so in case you dont know, i run solo 95% of the time. always depending on myself and standing up for no one. but today was different, for the better.
so i joined a public squad with a guy named Eschon Autorez. after a few matches he became squad lead.
before i go on, note that i almost NEVER use use my mic, because most of the time i'm too lazy to talk to people i dont know.
continuing, i didn't have my mic turned on, but he was still squad leading. he was giving out strategies and we were sticking together. we lost some matches but we were always at the top of our team and the matches were A LOT of fun. the most fun i've had in DUST in a long time.
we actually got to a point where we would jump out the LAV and he would just say "do your thing" and we went on a killing spree, guarding each other and everything. there even came a point where just me and him were guarding a null cannon from a full squad of enemies plus a few more. we successfully guarded it thanks to his excellent tactics and both of our abilities to own.
i say this because most of the time when i squad up, its no different than playing solo. just some brighter blueberries to look at. but this time it was different. while people came and went it was mainly us communicating. for once i felt how squad play should truly feel like.
almost makes me want to play in squads more often.
if you have a squad and want to squad up with me, feel free to throw an invite my way. while i dont usually use my mic i keep voice active in squad so i can hear you.
this is the part of DUST i've missing

Yea Dust is SO much better when you running with guys who watch your six and use tactical strategies to win. Discipline is necessary for this. Glad you enjoyed yourself. Nowadays it's definitely worth it more so than ever to be in a squad.
Shout out to Shadow Chat and Nameless...running with those guys are absolutely fun |

I run solo 99% of the time too. I don't belong to a Corp (Grade No.2 is my own created corp with only 1 other member; my alt). But since I re-installed, I refuse to run solo in objective games anymore. I'm sick of the headaches |

You can go to the lfsquad channel. It's buzzing wih players looking for a squad. I almost never run solo. I'd even wait 30 minutes to wait for a squad to open up.
I can only please one person per day. Today is not ur day, tomorrow doesn't look too bright either.

Yup.
Caldari Hierarchy just saved DUST from being rage deleted.
Playing FW with a squad of bros that want to win for the state just as much as you do is great, and is the way the game should be played.

I find that I do way better running with a squad then solo. I'm a scout so while my squad is attacking from one side I flank or completely surprise butseks them. Or if the enemy is putting too much pressure on one objective the squad will stay and have me do my scout thing and hack a different objective to make the enemy thin out. If you don't play in a squad then you don't get the full effect on the battlefield or the full dust experience. Not to mention the orbitals come around quicker.

Ditto here. I have a lot of fun in squads with my corp members, but I also run many solo matches. Mostly because I do stupid stuff as well. And I experiment with different dropsuit loadouts which sometimes gets me killed rather quickly. Plus I'm just naturally a solitary person.
