Your line of sight gives you much further "view" than your passive scan range does. Essentially the effect would be giving you a scan range further than the actual radar in your hud has, add to that the 10% bonus to range of Gal scout and or range extendersGǪ it would be too much I think. This character is all about the passive scan, and if you gave this buff to it, i could open the map screen and tell you exactly where every enemy, uplink, and nano hive is. Hell i can tell a heavy from an assault just by how fast in move in the Tacnet, I would be OP.
20m range for all scout frames with 16m for other light frames would be a balanced fix, although I find the current 16 to be very useful.

It is, with out a doubt, but the OP seems to have trouble picking people up. Could be he keeps get scoutbushed, most of us will outdo any basic precision even on another scout suit.

I lay REs down before a hack to defend my butt, when i see them coming i detonate and continue hacking. I know that i can see them behind me. But i recommend experimenting, it's fun.
