lol oh god, I can't believe they added that.
I hope such a thing never sees the light of day in real dropships.
Then again I'd hoped militia vehicles could one day be as relatively useful as militia suits and weapons are, because for now it's just expensive cannon fodder and enemy orbital fuel.
So now we're stuck
If militia vehicles become balanced as suits are, we have this stupid stabilize system with presumable no way for good pilots to deactivate
If militia vehicles continue to suck and be worthless as now, (why are militia dropships even in the game? Seriously? ) then...well. Militia vehicles will still suck. GG. |

til the ship to the side, release the sticks, after a few seconds of no input it automatically rights the ship, its a pretty neat feature.
edit:and despite my fellow pilot's rather pessimistic post above, while i too hope that this feature never goes beyond militia dropships i believe it has a useful role in helping new pilots get the basics of dropship flight.

The difference is night and day, as I played before hand and afterwards, the controls respond a lot better and it is a lot easier to get it back under control.
