i believe that CCP will get the majority of the racial content in so they can set dust up for a spectacular PS4 launch (well, relative to the ps3 one at least), i have a feeling that dust will probably last longer than most of us suspect.

Issue with that is how much of the work spent on PS3 may not translate to PS4 at all. Simply moving consoles, or moving to a new engine if/when the next Unreal comes out. This might all be for naught? think of it this way, if all else is for naught they'll have the art assets (well the basic models at least) and the stats reasonably well done, you're right a lot of work won't carry over but a lot of the important stuff like suit/weapon stats, and the way things work ingame will. in other words the front end stuff that matters to us players can be improved on the ps3 and transferred over to the ps4 version, while CCP gets the fun of sorting out the backend of the system and all glitches and code issues.

You could design weapon stats and that data on paper in a week. And that should have been done 3 years ago. That's not really progress. game balance is an ongoing affair, its never over, just cause the stats look good on paper doesn't mean that they're good in practice, the devs have to come up with the numbers then they have to test them, given the customisability of suits and the range of skills in dust i imagine that they have a fair few sets of numbers to run through and test before they can release a fix. end of the day CCP will go at their own pace and you're bitching won't change anything, so do us all a favor and stop making negative threads will you?
