CCP, you should put in a invisibility thing like they have in killzone 3 for scouts/light suits only. Make it so if you more quickly your invisibility dosn't work properly or if you kill some one you lose it and it has a 30 seconds recharge.

Let's say CCP added a repair gun that took up a sidearm slot. And it reps for 600hp/s or something equally idiotic. And it's limited to logistics suits. Despite the incredible variety of fittings that denies. Would you people suggesting that scouts should have their own gear agree that constricting the options in a game like this is a bad idea?
And using heavies as a counter-argument? Heavies are the least versatile suit in the game. They're built for one thing, and they're good at one thing - killing things. They're designed to carry a gun to facilitate that role, considering that they can fulfill no other.
A scout is fast, difficult to detect and has an equipment slot. (WHETHER OR NOT THOSE ARE ACTUALLY BENEFICIAL IS NOT RELEVANT) It's inherently a far more versatile suit than the heavy - and clearly, given the ostensibly 'OP' nature of the Logistics suit, versatility is king in DUST.
I'd argue that a far better balancing point would be an extra equipment slot at proto level (or maybe ADV, I guess) and CPU and PG to match, and then some.

Scouts will get a bonus to fitting cloaks, but all suits will prob be able to fit them, most likely severely gimping their fits.

I'm pretty sure that if someone goes back and watches either the 2013 fanfest stuff about DUST or the EVE Vegas stuff about DUST you will find that they've already stated that they are working on it and it will happen.
Besides, you already have in game evidence that it is possible. When you spawn in now, you have a short term "cloak" effect that is there to let you not get camped in as easily now. That used to not be a part of the game. It's the first step towards a working cloak idea in the game.

We already have a weaker variant of the HMG, the SMG.
I'm all fine with creating a light version of the FG. But considering the fact that the FG is an AV weapon and Medium/Light frames can use the Swarm Launcher and Plasma Cannon, I think you should come up with a better example.

This. Light/Med/Heavy frames are the T1 with t1-t5 between them. Roles are T2. We need out T3 suits. lose the role bonus (-10% to scan profile per level) but keep the racial bonus the same

Um guys,
CCP already confirmed that equipment-based cloaks are coming. As a dedicated ninja scout myself, I don't want the cloak to be restricted to just scouts. However, it would be nice if a specialized covert ops scout were designed around it to make the most of it.

Scouts are prob going to get major bonuses to the cloaks fitting and activation time, but everybody will be capable of fitting it.
