I am Nemo, CEO of the Nova Corps Marines, My Corp has been around since Mordu's Private trials. We currently have less than ten active players and while I wish to recruit more I am also wise enough to know that without a district to use as bait recruitment will be overly difficult as it has been these past months.
My question is this. Is there any PC Active Corp(s) that would be willing to bring in a few of my guys as ringers for a match or two at least once a week so that I can get my guys' feet wet into the PC realm as we move towards the goal of entering that arena. We have owned districts before and understand how PC works, but it has been a while and I would like to get my new guys some experience before I commit all of our resources to a PC war.
I can also bring ringers from M.T.A.C. Assault Operations Command and a few other small corps we are friends with. I am asking all of this publicly because all of my supposed "allies" that I had deals with during the beta are not returning my mails and will not talk to me and or the leadership I made deals with is no longer active/running the organizations. EoN, Dead Six, The Phoenix Federation, and a few others fall into this category.
I simply want my Corp to flourish and grow like it did in the MAG days. If you are willing to consider using NCM please hit me up in game and or post on here so that we can sit down and hammer out the details of any such arrangement.
Thank you for your time and consideration in this matter,

I am not familiar with that Corp, nor their tactics. If they are capable of such a feat then more power to them. As it stands my men are not capable of such a thing sadly enough. Nor do I wish to call in and pay people to defend what is mine. Hence this thread. All I am asking for is guidance and help getting some experience. Nothing more, nothing less. |

Just to be perfectly clear. NCM is in no way interested in joining an Alliance. We are perfectly happy in our current one and have no interest in changing our alliance tag. |

Hi Nemo, I'm part of the Legions leadership group. I have been around since the second wave of Beta keys were sent out at Dusts Launch. I'm not intelligent and my gun game is a bizarre spray and pray method that includes a lot of flailing about like a spastic.
All I can offer you is my opinion, based on my experiences and history with our Corp.
Building a PC Corp is a long term goal, and it takes a lot of patience and heap of work. But with the right attitude it can be done, and despite being stressful it is a rewarding experience - personally, socially and financially.
I would suggest the following points of action.
- Organise your current ten guys into specialised roles - (Logi+Uplinks+Scanner, Heavy+HMG, Assault+Nanohives,Scout+Shotgun+Scanner, Tanker+Swarm Launcher as examples)
- Discuss an effective skill training plan with each guy - focus/specialise the training for Proto gear.
- Start smashing Ambush and Domination as a full squad on your regional server. There is no better advertising for your group than dominating a match and winning. You will probably start seeing the odd Corporation Application coming in from randoms, grab them and add them to your ranks. Focus their training too, and role specialisation. This is also a chance to start thinking tactically with your squad and practicing true teamwork, and discipline to follow orders.
- Practice good voice comms - e.g. replace "Ah **** a Sniper got me f**k" with "Red Sniper, East of Alpha". Waffling and raging like a moron on comms is a sure fire way to have no one want to squad with you. It distracts the team, it blocks useful intel and it's annoying.
- Once your active Corp Numbers have grown from pub stomping, and you feel your guys have mastered the Rush, Capture and Defend phases of Skirmish - pick some smaller Corps districts to have a go at invading with clone packs.
- Attack a district and gauge your success, if you get smashed move on to a new target. If you have a close game, perhaps try once more.
- Repeat until you succeed.
- Know your limits - don't cap too many Districts :). Assume one hour of gameplay required per day - per district.
- Expect to be utterly decimated at any time - there is always a bigger fish. It pays to hold no attachment to districts, you will only be disappointed when it is inevitably removed from your ward. You have to be philosophical about these things.
- Oh and never, ever, name a district or a planet.
Hopefully you can extract some motivation from this - see you in battle!

Why don't you get in touch with a corp who hold a PFC district and see if they will agree to match your number in a fight, say if you can get your 10 on see if they will agree to a 10 v 10 and if they do launch a clone pack at em.
TEST signature please help me think of a better one.

Let Dios help! I think our corps are similar, we started out pretty big, heck it was in its prime when I first joined, weve held districts, defended and taken, we too are suffering from low active players. Although we are recovering, we are still in an unfortunate position where absent leadership prevents a few things. If you join chat channel Dios friends And let me know when pc's are scheduled, we can help both our corps reinstate their former glory and create a great partnership.
