Haven't noticed many REs.
The new FOTM are the Grenades.

Better not be, I love REs and if these assault bastards get them nerffed after all my work to get CCP to see the problem I'd leave in a heartbeat.

I tend to switch to REs when I am on the receiving end of a pubstomp in ambush. When teams end up having such an overwhelming advantage, a shark-type feeding freenzy sets in and people become less cautious while rushing to get the next kill. REs tend to slow down the over-pursuit. |

i dont mind RE's becuase to be honest some freaking thought has to put into using them rather mash L2.
plus scout suits are squish and easy to kill before they get near me :D

Yesterday i actually went vs Restless Spirits, About 8-10 of them maybe?
All of them Assault sor Logis.
I went 25-12.
ALL MY DEATHS: Grenade deaths.
I was like: Does no one AIM a gun anymore?

I've been using REs way before they could be considered FoTM.
But now that FoTM players have gotten a hold of then, I'm setting a countdown to how long it takes CCP to beat us to death with the nerf bat.

I'm tired of dying by cheap grenades when I'm in a proto suit so I run MLT scout suit with shotty, knives and REs, I blew up a proto heavy with one....I think he raged a little

I have to agree... drop down a nanohive and start lobbing the nades. And bonus! EM nades will destroy enemy equipment like RE's, nanohives, drop uplinks, etc...

If only they would fix the prox mines to work on the LAV's then I would be right there with you. But currently pox mines do jack all to LAVs.

REs have always been awesome, its just that the sh*tty playerbase that is DUST 514 is -like usual- slow to catch on to anything... Many of them don't grow beyond an AR, armor tanks, and damage mods...
Look how long it took for people to realize the SCR and FG are probably the best weapons in the game? Yet, the vast majority still use their original tactics that translate from past titles. Because Gosh forbid players leave their comfort zone and actually try to master something other than holding down R1 and spamming grenades...
