A lot of new shooter players think that balance means every weapon is the same. snipers get less hate becuase you can hide from them and are an easy kill in range, shotguns on the other hand are terrifying in cqc, and when you are distracted by another fire fight, or to put it another way shot gunners dominate the "normal" guns in their own range, snipers don't, of course cqc isn't the domain of "normal" guns but for some reason a lot of gamers think that ARs should be the best gun in its entire range and that the only thing that should beat it is an other AR or rifle.

(only problem i have witht eh shot gun is the hit detection) had a guy 2m in front of me standing still. pulled trigger. no damge went throguh.

Not necessary if autoaim enabled The AR scrubs live in a fantasy world thinking the AR is the worlds most effective and powerfull infantry weapon instead of the mass produced standard scrub weapon it is. I mean the HMG in dust514 is so nerfed that it would be more deadly if you'd be able to throw it at people rather than shooting them. The shotgun, forgegun, sniper rifle and even the HMG should be able to OHK people with ease.
