ccp. we were changing ceo so we could get into an alliance. while we were changing, i got demoted as director and it randomly promoted some1 we did not want as director. he kicked all our members and stole all our isk. this is not the first time this has happened. nobody promoted him. he just became director. if you want the mail he said to us, please tell me and i will forward it to you. we want all our members put back in our corp because this was a huge bug that cost us 200 people. we want a refund. that is so stupid that it happened. please put all our ex members back in our corp ccp. |

If it's a bug, they will look into it considering you said no one promoted this guy. It seems that a computer did the deciding for you but how can we be sure it was a computer that did it? Were you the CEO or was someone else the CEO?

this had nothing to do with our ceo. i just sent a ticket in explaining all the details. it is below. btw. 30 mill was what we had in the wallet. we split all our real isk every 20 mill we hit. just to make sure if this stuff happens, we dont loes all that much
i am director of THE GOD'Z THEMSELVES. we were wanting to apply to a new alliance. we made our eve director ceo so he could apply us to the alliance. during the ceo switch, i was randomly demoted from director and this other guy that just joined the corp became director. our ceo did not appoint this person as director. it was random. this person saw that he was a director. he sent a mail saying he would rob us. the next minute we were about to take him off. it did not allow our ceo to demote him. this guy kicked all 200 members of my corp, and stole 32 million isk from the corp wallet. i would like a refund on our isk, all our ex-members placed back in the corp, and i want this person banned. his name is.... RAider Vherikor he exploited a bug that cost us all our isk and members. i want ccp to put all our members back at least. our eve ceo tried demoting RAider the night before it happened. it would not take him off director role for some reason. please understand where i am coming from. its annoying when a bug that promotes a director without the CEO actually appointing him as such. he kicked everyone. i have the mail he sent to the corp. reply to me your dust or eve name and i will forward it to you. my members are furious. thank you. regards. Sounds like a nasty bug indeed.
The most that CCP might be able to do is maybe reverse the ISK transfer (they can do that) and ban him for a while. As for bringing back that corp, you'll have to do that on your own. Notify your mates that they should prepare to reapply when possible.
As to why it didn't let you kick him out, it might have to do with Eve Online's system. Eve Online imposes a 24 hour stasis period in which players that are given roles or had their roles removed are put on limbo. As to the randomness of appointing this guy as a director, there must have been a miscommunication between Eve and DUST.
CCP, please fix the Nova Knives. Thank you.

This does sound like a horrible bug... Luckily it was only 30 million, which is not much to be upset about....
Questions:
Was this guy who was promoted the VERY last person invited before the switchover?
Is there a way to have more than one director? (I'm not in a Corp obviously so I don't have direct access to this info)
And if you did, were they all affected or only one of them?

I believe the CEO in Eve can appoint directors. Your CEO probably appointed himself in Dust or someone he knows from Eve who actually is this Verikor dude. What makes you think your CEO has unimpeachable integrity? There are a lot of people in Eve who would congratulate your CEO if this is in fact a CEO level offense. |

You should not trust your CEO, as he's obviously laughing now. Also are changes to directorship and CEO roles should be done using either a trusted third party or using your own ALT ;)

Always be very careful of you give access rights
however normally when passing CEO to another the former CEO does lose director access and has to request director access back from the new CEO
We had to do the same when we joined the alliance i got demoted back to member and new CEO put me back to director |

With one major difference. Right now, to get a corporation into an alliance, the CEO needs to be a CAPSULEER. This means, unless you also play EVE, you have to have someone else assume the reigns of CEO to put your corp into an alliance.
That is kind of rediculous. He got scammed for two reasons. One, because of not having good friends, as the Dev put it. Two, because he was unable to do something himself, because Dust is an incomplete PoS when it comes to managing a corp, especially a corp with both dust and EVE sides. |

Actually, the need to trade out of game to another game just to perform legislative functions is a bug. If this system was reversed I can tell you a lot of EvE corps would be rioting.
If they had to open such a large core loophole to their corp wallet... I can bet all the larger corps would go around disbanding everyone else just to grab at their territory.
I'm going to trust that the time stamps and person registered to each stamp is legit, but still this should be looked at.

well. we are rebuilding now. a couple of corps are helping out with the isk problem. there are many people ready to help us out. there is even a whole corp recruiting and sending them to our bootcamp. i love most people in this game. but i just cannot get past the fact that raider explioted a glitch. i would really like to see his account banned from dust. we cant let a problem like this get exploited to the point that ccp has to shut down this game.

You're really stubborn. This was not a glitch. You got scammed by your EVE pilot, who has now conveniently left. Raider is the alt of some other main player, as his account is only a week old. There's even a chance that Raider is a Dust account of your pilot.

So your basically asking any randomer you don't know to become CEO to get you into an alliance, you do realize any EVE player you make CEO can take all the shares of your corp and at a later date hold a vote to demote your CEO and make who ever he wants CEO and you can do nothing about it. In other words only use an EVE player you trust if you pick a randomer they will hijack you for the lol's especially if its the chance to do it to your corp a second time.

Even if this was a glitch (which it was not), why do you want him banned? For all he knew, he was promoted a legitimate way and saw the opportunity to have some fun. But I'm positive this was a scam. It's really time to stop beating a dead horse.

Fellow Mercs,
I feel the need to clarify some things. What happened was the result of a series of connected and planned operations to dismantle corps and re-appropriate their resources to better support our glorious war efforts on the side of the caldari. We decided to sacrifice corps which were risky in the first place and lacked good leadership.
We were able to do this through simple recruitment, and once inside the corp offices we were able to penetrate the corps internal electrontic managment systems through hacking the CONCORD defense hyper-net and co-opting the net to our own purposes using the full spectrum of CONCORD's Hyper-net attack capabilities to install several hyper-net malware sets to include the most cutting edge development from our team black box; The [Corp] Eater Virus.
The [Corp] Eater once installed immediately set to work stripping shares donating them to one of our operators who then created a vote and then gave them to another random EVE pilot covering our tracks after setting the vote right away and in our case the protocols were set to immediately give me director access which it did multiple times. [Corp] Eater also randomly gives several other members access and randomly removes access further causing confusion as everyone scrambles to figure out what happened and giving it time to immediately strip all ISK from every wallet and transfer it to our waiting accomplices several systems away in one of the more powerful Alliances working within the Caldari State Militia.
This happened multiple times over a 36 hour period (The Godz Themselves were robbed twice). Afterwards my accomplices in Caldari space were able to launder the funds and have since gone to ground leaving me as the only link left and in less than 10 hours I will be gone as well. Additionally all space borne assets were stripped as well and contracted to one of several corp haulers to our staging bases and further re-tagged and stripped of previous identification and now either sold or re-appropriated to our war efforts.
Total time from initial recruitment to insertion of [Corp] Eater to corp destruction was less than three man hours in multiple corps... with multiple operatives in mutually supporting positions and many stay-behinds still waiting for their activation signal for another round of destruction. For every corp which everyone may hear complain on this forum board there are 4-5 which simply ceased to function and you will never hear another word from them, as their destruction was total.
All ISK funds were re-appropriated to our worthy cause and as such we thank everyone for your hours of work putting all that ISK together into the corp wallet for us. We challenge The Godz Themselves to come after us in the Caldari State and show us just how "dangerous" you really are... If you think you can do it with out us activating our program of destruction again or because you fear the Caldari. You really cant stop us once we are inside... and many of the very people you think are your friends are just waiting to stab you in the back and twist the knife while smiling at you the whole time.
Additionally we would like to call out that EVE Capsuleers are unable to join the DUST514 forums and cannot defend themselves. Why are the DUST514 Forums and the EVE Online forums Separate? Why not merge the two and truly make the DUST-EVE connection stronger? If you did, we would have been able to to do a lot less damage.

I believe he was being dramatic he didn't hack anything who ever you made CEO to get into an alliance gave all the corp shares to him he then initiated the vote to become a director promoted a few others to cover his tracks and robbed you (twice) he also implied that he may have a few sleeper ALTS lurking around and from DUST side you have no way of knowing who has the shares so he is either A telling the truth and at a later date he will rob you again or B lying to make you paranoid about your members.
Personally I would chalk this one up as experience and tighten security in your corp (would recommed a reform to weed out his alt with the shares.) then next time you want in an alliance use some one you can definitely trust which in New Eden means very few.

Yep, and due to a huge lack on info for DUST CEOs regarding EVE-side corp management abilities, a lot of players don't realise the consequences of such an action. eg. the EVE Capsuleer whom you promote to CEO to gain entry to an alliance can transfer all shares of your corp to himself and thus instigate a vote to overthrow your leadership at anytime he/she wishes, even from another corp.
