Ewar is complete **** in PC! The best way to go if your a scout is brick tank suit with uplinks and shotgun... Unless your a sniper of course.
Which Inturn makes scout **** in PC because mediums are better at brick tanking.
Only use for scout is the initial run in to hack obj and drop uplinks. Besides that... Not much else

With that fit you can still rock a Carthum Scrambler, TY-5 Scrambler Pistol, and Ishukone Gauged Uplinks. Yes, there is still a place for skilled scouts even before the buff.

There are some people who can confirm that there is a stacking penalty for the range amps even though the description makes no mention of it. CCP needs to fix this. With the stacking penalty, you can only see up to about 65m max.
However, DJINN has a point that scouts are only useful inside the cities. Honestly a charged ishukone nova knife can make most heavies run scared, but there are not that many folks out there that run with the knives and the hit detection is crap at the moment. Until cloaks are added and hit detection is fixed, the knifers are at an extreme disadvantage.
CCP, please fix the Nova Knives. Thank you.

I never said it was viable, or easy to use effectively. I said what the difference would be, and how it could potentially be used.
