I did not notice this earlier but was watching the EVE Vegas Dust 514 video and there seems to be a sneak peak at the new market place. Looks a lot cleaner than what we have now. It seems that there are drones on this image of the new marketplace image. "Drones: New drones available"

Thoughts? are we getting drones soon?

bare in mind this is still a design concept and probaly not the final design nor is it confirmation of drones any time soon

Player owned drones would be so amazing, but from what I remember hearing in the fanfest videos, there are major performance considerations to consider. As I recall, drones are going to be using roughly the same system resources as a player would. I think most people would prefer 32 v. 32 fights instead of 16 + drones vs. 16 + drones.

I'd imagine it's there to just let us know that they are still thinking about pve. If we had drones in pvp, then the FPS would be a SPF. |

I was going to say that this as well. I'd bare in mind that typically these kind of images from upcoming features are typically very different from what actually arrives.
