So upcoming FW will basically encourage allegiance to a given race. When I first started playing, I read the basic couple paragraphs about lore, and blindly picked a race for my character. Based on years of FPS play of other games, I had a pretty good feel that I wanted to start out Logistics, but even more randomly picked my Dropsuit (flavor of the month type of deal - Caldari)
As a new corporation, we already have interest in PC and will of course want to leverage and play the upcoming variants of FW as well as the public contracts and current state of FW that we now have.
So now it appears that it becomes much more important for individual mercenaries, as well as corporations of mercenaries to choose a FW corporation to gain standing with wisely. And yet we are already SP vested heavily in various combinations of gear based on performance, not standing criteria.
Any thoughts on how to start choosing a preferred race and building moral and loyalty among the privately owned corp members to this race/lore?

Might be difficult. I assume that not all of your members are for the same race. Pick one race. Only one. Choose one that all members are comfortable with. Either choose it based on lore or equipment that your corporation can benefit from.
I alone can not give you all the answers. Those strong among your corporation must provide them. Good luck my friend.

Would that whoever in CCP that came up with this poor idea be slapped in the face by a dapper English gentleman and challenged to an embarrassing and chafing spandex clad marathon duel.

lol, well of course there are always the micro-transactions, I'm betting they will allow you to run up to 4 race boosters simultaneously! Thus my problem is solved ... right??
Or are you suggesting I'll only be able to fudge by choosing two? |
