Good luck, by all logic. It maybe spring or summer next year before you get want you want. The good news is, you will have a lot of SP to come back too and CCP will give you free stuff like the Black Eagle. Who know the next free thing might be a heavy BPO considering the heavy class is worthless at the moment. |

Veterans are closed beta players to me. But I don't see the problem of letting people who came in on january call themselves that at this point. |

ScR, Flay, Enforcers, all med frames, Minmatar scouts, the varying tiers of active scanners, reskin of every old gun and suit and vehicle and map, new UI, and the Scout LAV and Assault dropship.

Well, I remember the days before the SMG (Think that was Codex) and the time of free militia vehicles, of when all militia items, AUR or not were BPOs.

The game is as good as dead really.
They've waited way, way too long to bring out new content.
I don't think that even releasing it all in 1.6 would bring many new players in.
Even if they release that in 1.7. That's almost 9 months of waiting for things that should have been in release.
What ever happened to controlling the MCC as well?
Where the hell is all the stuff they said they had done?
Literally all the needed to do was make BF2142 with Eve fitting and style. That was all they had to do. And they failed. Badly.
I think there are gonna be a lot more casualties to come in terms of player numbers if they don't fix this crap fast. |

i can understand you... i've playing lately only a few matches of dust... before the stupid uprising (1.3? or 1.4? idk) changes i played every day and even back than, when my guns didnt worked properly and my suit died instantly i still would had a chance to outmaneuver my opponents and get the kill... but now it's impossible thx to hit detection and AA.
nearly all the new maps suck for CQC scouts and the changes to my favorite CQC maps are pretty ****** too (the big tower added to the city map).. i end up on open maps like 80% of the time.... and thx to the new equipment i have to use to be sneaky and not get scanned by adv scanners my ehp are so low that every sniper can 1 shot me and i have to use std weapons cause even both (PG/CPU) skills at lvl4 are not enough to equip a scout suit properly..
so what i do is sit and wait either for a scout buff or a respec so that i can spec into assault suits :/

I'd wait for the first few that breach the 100mil sp mark to call them vets. Playing a game for 1 year is nth.
I am playing eve for 3 years and still don't see myself as a vet. You should see and hear the stories of those with 100mil+. Those are antique times.
DUST was in a BETA and had a rough start. Now it is in a stagnant positions. When it gets to the real "Uprising" and players that lived it all trough will be able to call themselves vets.
Now community is made mostly of a bunch of whiny sissies and quitters.
