As the title states, what are your viewpoints on this matter?
Edit: I apologize in advance to 60 mercs I terminated with my Charge Sniper riffle while testing this out today. |

You must be standing on top of the MCC and incredibly close to the edge in order to stand outside the MCC object box. As for counter sniping that's a topic I'm still unsure about. I would gladly welcome it. However the only resistance I met was the very rare and offhand MCC missile strike instantly killing me. Additionally, you have to be incredibly lucky in order to place down equipment. For the best chance you have to be looking straight down at your feet on a flat surface otherwise the items will slip right off and deactivate. |

mcc sniping was a term referring to sniping from the interior of the mcc, which as far as I know doesn't work, though some blueberries with insisted it was still possible to do.
standing on top of the mcc has been pseudo disabled, you can no long place nano hives on top of the mcc so anyone sniping from those locations will find it only being temporary at best.
sniping from on top of mcc's is no different then sniping from any other high point location so I don't really care. |

When I get bored of running around on the ground with my HMG, I take a dropship up there and snipe/SL. I think they changed the gravity rules on hives though, they slide off of the MCC now and explode.
There's nothing wrong with it. But, you're just a huge target for counter sniping, seeing that you have to go to the very edge of the MCC to get red dots. |

Gotta be careful when flying/landing though ccp thought it was a good idea to dmg any dropship with 10,000,000 dmg if u tap the mcc |

No, equipment will still work if you are incredibly careful and lucky in their placement.

I must be that people completely forgot to check the MCC. I haven't run into any counter sniping. |

I think all red line sniping is a tactic that needs exterminated. in the red line for more than 2.5 min, then you get cloned for cowardance and not fuffiling your contract to take null cannons. |

That's a tricky thing to argue. Is it cowardice if you are able to lay down suppressive fire and deny enemies a region so your buddies can move in and capture points? |

You've never been up there, so don't speak about what a sniper can and cannot do. For instance, on the peak map, I can overlook A, B and C and pretty much lock down A. It has a direct line to the hack pad on A. I have stopped countless counter hacks, thus keeping the letter blue. Plus, I help soften up many heavy's for ground forces to finish. And, counter snipe.
So, take a chill pill. A good sniper is worth two on the ground. |

I swap between a logistics healer and a charge sniper quite frequently. I'll be just as likely to heal and save your life as similarly kill you depending on the context. |

The ones that I've seen doing it sort of float above the MCC. Very easy to counter snipe. |

If you guys want MCC sniping or forge gunning (if the range is long enough) then they should place a stairway to the roof of the MCC. |

It a perfectly valid tactic. You can't take a shot at anyone from up there without risking being shot yourself and you are clearly visible when you do. A good counter-sniper only has to wait until you pop your head up to take a shot. I've killed plenty of snipers up there and I've been killed plenty of times up there by counter snipers.
I did this the other day to a guy I knew. Him and a group of his team got on top of a tower with forge guns and logi's so knowing full well nobody would be able to get a dropship up there I decided to get on our MCC an snipe them down. Sent a mail at the end of the match basically saying "sorry for targeting you guys the whole match; couldn't help myself" and the dude turned sore loser on me and responded back about how sniping from the top of the MCC was a cheap tactic... from the guy sitting on a tower with a forge gun in his hand and logi's at his back. He couldn't counter snipe me because I was "head glitching" even though I had to get at the very edge of the collision box (any further and I would have fallen off) just to be able to take a shot at them. |

I doubt it's intended by CCP but if a tactic works use it or else you might fall victim to it. |

Considering there are rather large missiles impacting against the top of the MCC you shouldn't be able to stand up there, let alone get a steady shot I doubt they meant for you to be up there sniping, but hell if you can get up there, and get the shots off go for it man. Use every tool and trick available until told by the people running the game not to. No from a player perspective many people will call you a chicken, but I doubt you care. |
