Swarm Launchers are already useless, and you nerfing them again to a locking range of 175 m with 100 dps less ? and then reducing the AR range to 40 m Optimal range ? A FN P90 have an optimal range of 300 meters.
A ******* Pistol have an optimal range of 50 METERS ....
After you apply this changes you may also shut down the servers.... because only HAV drivers and Snipers are going to play this game. |

Are you aware of the upcoming vehicle rebalance? tanks are going to lose a bunch of high and low slots. When thinking of the AV changes, keep it in context with the upcoming vehicle changes. |

The Swarm nerfs are massive and unneeded tbh.
But you should probably look at the AR ranges again, because they've actually been increased slightly with these changes, not decreased. |

I'm worried about a few things, but we haven't even seen how everything will work on the field, so I am holding my judgement for now. You should too. |

Yes the swarm changes definitely seem sweeping but we really don't have all the details with tank rebalance so I'll reserve judgement.
Not seeing any issues with the AR.

this guy did the exact math with the announced changes. and that is assuming the tank driver is **** and does not bother to move out of range or behind an obstacle

You don't see issues with the AR ? When this changes go a head... i can stop 150 meter from an AR user with my Sniper Rifle, and have plenty of time to carefully aim at the head ...the other guy will have to try to run 110 meter in my direction to kill me.

maybe the range reduction is a little too much, but seriously you guys have a huge RoF, anyway any swarm operator worth his salt knows you never engage at more than 250m's anyway, its too easy for vehicles to get away. what these changes will do is make swarms (a light av weapon) an ambush/close range av weapon that is most efficient with multiple operators while forge guns will probably end up as the long range sniping av weapon.
in other words, lets see how things play out before we cry nerf. |

Don't forget turret ammunition. Tanks will eventually have to retreat even if you aren't swarming them. Camp supply depots for the tanks. |
