Now i know that this kind of thinking is pretty stupid seeing how we know so little about how that game will work, but i'm bored and i feel like dreaming, so here goes.
Dust side: introduce a new SI called AAA battery or whatever, make it have an affect on the number of aircraft that can be fielded Valkyrie side, now this bit is dependant on how gameplay in valkirye is implemented. If valkyrie operates similar to dust and has a number of fighters in reserve that are spawned in when one on the field dies (think how clones act in dust) then the AAA battery could reduce the nuber fielded by the nemy tam by a set % for every one you hold, in other words there's a reason for Valkyrie pilots to care about having boots on the ground. the more AAA districts they hold, the greater the advantage they have.
Valkyrie side: now heres an idea about how valkirye could affect dust, installations, CRU'S, SUPPLY DEPOTS, Turrets etc are all dropped from the warbarge which is in orbit, if we assume that some Valkyrie battles are in low orbit (which would be required for the whole AAA battery idea to work) then such orbital drops could be intercepted, i can think of two ways that might happen, the first is that when a installation is set to be called in a default target is spawned in the eve valkirye fight, lets just say that its called "installation" and is a crate for siplicitys sake, Valkyrie pilots could then intercept those things live, while that would be cool i doubt its possible. the other way is that a "chance of intercept" ratio is created when a dust match starts, this ratio is dependent on how fights go valkirye side, if your side wins then the installation is more likely to get to the ground safely, if the other side is winning in the skies then the chance of it being "intercepted" and destroyed increases. this could allow for some variations in planet types as well, some planet types like say a gas giant, could have a higher chance of "intercept" due to atmospheric processes then say a temperate planet.
Eve side: the only interactivity that i can think of between eve and Valkyrie right now is rather similar to the aim with the warbarge, where an eve pilot has to go and park it above the planet to allow clones to be deployed. |
