Nah, we'll just exploit whatever weakness tha gun is going to have. Like the ScR, every rifle is going to have a draw back instead of being an across the map "I win button." Just speculating, but I think the rail rifle migh be horrble in CQC. Hope you're using more than a toxin.

Sad thing is Ive run tanks back to the red line just by hopping on them and shooting a couple rifle rounds at the tank Then there was that time when I blew up a tank with an SMG but that was after throwing everything else I had at it and the thing pulled through all that with like a hundred health but its rep was on cool down and it was starting to drive away from me in a straight line with its weak spot right there so I went for it and got lucky

Reducing the range on the AR may prove very healthy for the game, but so long as the Assault Scrambler Rifle holds the same DPS than it's no contest what the next flavor of the month is going to be. There's no reason it should have the same DPS but a longer range, it'll only be a matter of time before it picks up as the latest trend.

Unless they do something idiotic and fix the numbers on the rail rifle to match the laser rifle I dont see that happening Even the lowered rate of fire isnt as much of a hindrance as you might think it could be, after all if the breach is supposed to be the RRs stand in for now the biggest problem with that is the range, not the damage, clip size, or ROF Hell the only thing I can think of besides what I mentioned that might hold it back in CQC is if they slap a scope on it with a ridiculous amount of zoom in which case Ill just have to kill anyone that gets close with a SMG Oh no, whatever shall I do with these options and planning my fitting to shore up any weak spots at close to mid range
CLONE117 Planetary Response Organization Test Friends Please Ignore 432	Posted - 2013.10.23 15:28:00 - [20] - Quote i once compared the ar to other weapons like the assault scrambler and smg. first i started out by firing a full clip of that std ar into that wall without touching the controls. the ar climbed up the wall pretty fast it was a pretty large gap but not something u will notice when shooting at other players. i then tested the ascr. it had far less climb than the ar. when i tested the smg. no climb what so ever. so how does the ar have the least recoil of all the other guns in this or what ever its called? it has the highest in the game. i only put little sp into smg and only enough to unlock the ascr. my proficiency on the ar is maxed along with operation. and alot of the other skills with in it are at level 3 or higher. and now the many times ive killed with that std ar or gek 38. most of the kills were in the 40m range. my less common is in the 50-60m range, rare kills or kill steals are in the 70m range. at this range the ar is only doing small amounts of damage to you. since most of the rounds r missing at this range.
