gunnlogis don't beat madrugars. You can't in any 1v1 situation.
They are better in everyway.

But today I got destroyed twice, but in my defense the first time I was hit by a proto swarm right before going around a corner right into a madrugar, and the second (in the same match) I got a precision strike called on me and then the madrugar chased me into the redline.

Back to your thread, the gunloggi is just absolutely laughable at best. The gunloggi doesn't compare to the Madrugar in miles.

There's a reason why you here on comms, "there's a Madrugar on the field" besides "there's a gunloggi" on the field.

The Gunnlogi has speed. The only way its going to beat the Mudder is to get a maneuvering jump on it. Start attacking first, and have a better exit route.

I would drive right up Gunnlogis because I simply thought of them as a MLT level HAV. The blaster cuts through shields like a hot knife through butter, and eats the little armor they have.

You have to out play the Mudder, but Gunnlogis can destroy Mudders. I don't know why they aren't used as often anymore.

I just wanted to know how to take out a maddruger blaster tank with a gunnlogi. Basically what would be the best turret and should I go for more shields or amplifiers? Also what would be good small turrets to help damage the enemy tank even more. I do really know what does good damage against shields or armor, but I'm guessing railguns do a lot of damage to shields.

Also what are some of your fits?

No one but long standing vetts use gunlogis on a regylar basis for a few reasons .
1 we lost our equaliser with armour at the start of uprising I.e. dammage stacking
2 our boosters dont even rep the dammage from 1 forge gun blast
3 our hardners are weaker than armor hardners
4 new tankers treat their gunlogis like maddys and fail so they give up on them.

We gunlogi pilots are out their there may be few of us but were here.

Also most maddy pilots can rely on op fittings but shield tankers need more pilot skill and better battlefield awareness and I think thats too much for some folks

They are not stand and deliver tanks but gurrilla warfair vehicles but I guess you are ine if these guys who got themselves one and ran it right into a bunch of reds like a f#@king hero.

spot on. i use gunlogis like sniper rifles and they work as such. dont try to fight a maddy that sees you. the brilliance of the gunlogi is damage mods. a madrugar cannot defeat a rail sniper. ever. the dps is far too low. a gunny can, however. gunlogi pilots have always been a rare breed. it's just a thousand times harder now but i still love em...not to say i dont use a madrugar most of the time. it's just less situational than a gunny.

You can't beat them 1 on 1, but you can use speed and tactics to win over. If you try to hit them dead on with your gunloggi, you're in trouble.

Use a Caldari tank the way anything Caldari is supposed to be used.

Sit way back and pop stuff with a rail turret.

And if a madrugar users claims gunnlogis are better at AI than madrugars...
They aren't.
Madrugars have +1000 hp +100 E/hp. Move faster and have better aim. If a madrugar chose to use passive res it would still be better.

Thing is my armor tanks is better at hit and run than your shield tank. I have only been killed by gunlogis a couple of times (I was already weakened) while having destroyed an uncountable amount.
