EVE generally follows a 2-expansions per year rule, and Rubicon is slated to launch in November/December (I believe).
As Uprising launched around the same time as the last major EVE expansion, it stands to reason that a major release for DUST isn't too far away, roughly around the same time as EVE: Rubicon.
The point releases (1.1, 1.2, 1.3...) were always supposed to be bug patches, fixes, optimizations and balancing... with major content and gameplay changes to be released semi-annually as per the EVE model.
So, my question is as follows:
When will the next major content expansion for Dust launch? (Chromosome --> Uprising --> xxxxxxx)
Thanks in advance for your reply.

It's not unusual for software to be versions to release 1.10, 1.11, 1.12, etc., until the developer wants to go to the next major release number. |

Seeing as the next eve update is named after a fruit juice, I wouldn't be surprised to see the next DUST514 to be titled 'Ribena' |

Generally expansion comes after consolidation.
We're still consolidating, so I really don't want to see shoddy expansions which just mess up the core and make everything harder to perfect. |

Rubicon is a river near ancient rome that had to be crossed or something and the crossing of it was lead to rome being its historical foot mark or something like that details escapes me. None the less people use Rubicon in talk like a crucible. |
