So about 2-3 weeks ago I made a new character that just drives around in a Caldari Logi LAV and runs people over, and that is just about it. Sometimes if I hit a guy and he doesn't die but I see his shields go out I will hop out and finish him with my submachine gun. Well today I finally got my first hate mail and I couldn't be happier. The guy tells me how I am a piece of **** and I ruin the game, and that I suck and am a scrub. Well after I replied saying how he was crying and should have just killed me, and told him to keep the hate mail coming. To which he says something like "It's not hate mail, don't flatter yourself." LOL really? Cause that literally was hate mail right there...
Funny thing is when I got that message I had only played one match that day so far. In that match I went 12-1, which was better than anyone on our team except for the guy in the #1 spot who went like 19-6. I also did better than most of the other team, so it sounds to me like this guy really was just mad that I ran over him, hopefully it was more than once.
Have you guys ever received hate mail? If so what for? How did you reply?

I play Dust in the hopes of getting more hatemail. It's like the main reason I play.
I've been called 'PROTO ***' and 'HACKER' before, as well as being accused of having my grenades explode 'too ******* fast'. |

I got hate mail once for hacking an enemy LAV and using it to Murder-Taxi people.
But the hate mail came from my own team.
I don't think he understood what hate mail is. |

I love getting hate mail . I also kove sending mail to ***** tankers who run away from my gunlogi or python and recall their tank and dont bring another out all game.... those tankers give the rest of us a bad name. |

Heh, when I'm using my Incubus I'll recall it if I know keeping it out is going to result in inevitable destruction. It's expensive man! Of course, when I do decide to recall it's only because no matter where I go I'm still getting hit by some forge or rail turret from somewhere, and no matter where I land in my redline I'm still getting hit so I have to turn on all my active modules right before I get out and even then I'm only barely able to recall it. |

I got hate mail for sniping once. They told me to come out of my perch and fight like a man. After the Uprising respec, that's exactly what I did: I now run double SMG Scout 95% of the time, and love it. |

I had a guy send me mail that they had raped me they won funny thing was I'm a logi with a .98 KDR and I went 9-4 against they didn't beat us very bad some people are just idiots lol. |

I recall my tank when I can, why would I want to lose 450k isk? It does not give tankers a bad name, know when you have lost and when you can't win, it's much better than losing a tank.
Anyways I'm gonna get back on and see if this guy replied. I found out he is on the forums too, I hope he sees this post. |

Back in the beginning of Uprising (before 1.4) I always hoped to get hate mail from players who I stabbed too many times every match. All I got were just salutes. |

I have gotten 1 hate mail on this character because I was using my dropship, but some guy thought I was sniping because I had no points.
The other was on an alt and I would rather have the Identity of kept secret. I supposedly cost us the entire game singlehandedly though. |

I had a guy send me hate mail telling me I lost he game because I did not hack the objective. The problem was there were 10 guys holding it. Oh, and he went 0-13 with 270 points to my 8-0 with 825 points. What an idiot. I told him that I don't take advice from someone who puts up those kind of stats. |

All I know is my favorite part of the convo with this guy that sent me hate mail was that he said it wasn't hate mail. He even called me bro so when I replied I replied with "bro" and then he did that exact same thing back to me...like really dude? I was quoting you and now you are doing it? haha what a dumbass |
