just saying.
You could only have based this on either.
A. Feeling B. Others feelings C. You just made it up because your sht and feel the need to project your opinion as fact.
Pick one. |

How many players have lowered the amount they play DUST? How much of those numbers are players just logging in to collect their daily bonus?
I know many who have given up on DUST and some who are willing to come back once CCP implements more content such as racial heavies. Yes, CCP can boost player count but they need to have something exciting for any chance of vets coming back. They are moving in the right direction with changes to FW and PC but it all depends on how fast they can get those out. As IWS said, the PS4 will be the true test to see how many people leave as many who buy the new console wont keep their PS3 or will rarely use it. Once vehicles are done, this game should be in a decent state of balance (hopefully. At that point, their focus needs to be on content and expanding the depth of the game. a person that gets the point in dust forums? how did this happen? oh, i get the point... CCP is just waiting at the moment.. not hard to see. Lets just hope they don't wait to long ... this train is moving fast. CCP has been playing it safe every since launch. Sure, people love new content such as a weapon here and there and some new suits but you will still be playing the same game modes against the same number of enemy for the same rewards no matter what. The creative director needs to take a chance here and there and bet big on something. Yes, it might fail but it could also get people excited about this game again. I look at it this way: I enjoy logging on now and again and pew pew'ing with my clan but there is nothing that is really keeping me here. I just have not seen a game that peaks my interest yet. However, I see a couple on the horizon (mainly Destiny and The Division) that I am quite interested in. If those games live up to their hype then I definitely see my play time dropping yet again. I used to be able to cap out 2 to 3 toons in a given week. Now I barely cap one and dont really feel bad if I fail in that.
Explain how its even possible to fail please, the way dust has been created makes it pretty much impossible to fail, one good factor is that the didn't nor will bthey ever have to put it on disc, that's millions saved right there, where is the profit loss? How is that possible? Its not. |

Yea the PS3 has a huge playerbase, but with that comes the limitations of the console itself. DUST won't be able to increase player count by much more, as it is the game is pushing its limits, and will get better over time with optimization... but time isn't a luxury that DUST has on PS3.
The game is doomed on the PS3, but if the faster it gets on PS4, the better.
They would have to be dumb as fk to release it on ps4 just so people whine a bit more and problems with ps4 have yet to manifest themselves, they would actually lose a lot of players releasing it on ps4 too quickly. |
