Want in pc to make a differance and why?
We just want to see more corps thrive in pc a steady flow of competition/income/ more war. with one alliance or corp owning most if not all land makes the pc world just as dead as pub matches. i think it would be nice to see other corps like Ultramarines Stand alone clones russian troops of chaos restless spirits osg pro subdreddit and many more corps in faction warfare join planetary conquest. Public matches and faction warfare doesnt help you get better in this game especially when every game is redline fest. join the festives im sure there are alot of districts out there either for sale to get your feet wet and or to work on your corps teamwork. alot of corps out there have skilled players who will never get shine because they arent noticed in planetary conquest. if your wanting to join in and need help learning the ropes theres always other corps willing to help out the community foreal and not using it as a way to sucker you into fighting their wars. we just want to see more corps in there learning and making this game more playable for what time this game has left.

The problem is PC just isn't all that fun, and is still prone to stunning levels of framerate lag. Subdreddit has a district on PFC which, for some reason, most of us tend to not have serious lag issues on. When RND announced they were leaving PC we dropped a clone pack on a district they held which we were the original owners of, on Ennur. It played for us like this: http://i.imgur.com/Oa80ivv.jpg
RND didn't have any problems though.
Subdreddit was originally formed with the intent of taking and defending planets in nullsec, which made lowsec PC our intermediate goal. But that game mode failed to deliver on the strategic level that was envisioned (PC 2.0 seems to address this) and has serious performance issues. Until, at the very minimum, the performance issues are resolved Subdreddit will not be getting any more involved in PC than holding our district on PFC. Our members don't enjoy it as it stands, and I can't exactly make them log in to waste their evening on something they don't enjoy when they could just go play some other game instead. |

Eh, I get the idea behind PFC but really in the long term it does more damage to the health of PC and encourages the idea of a blue donut by keeping combat contained in a nice neat package where it doesnt threaten some peoples farmville operations
While saying its there to promote conflict and fighting sounds good on paper it funnels potential random attacks into the "safe zone" if you will undermining the idea that its supposed to be a war zone and leading the uninitiated into thinking that if they want to get a start in PC it has to be there rather than assaulting wherever they damn well please and learning things the hard way
Hell experience is the best teacher right but presenting an experience that belies what PC really is just makes complacent weaker opponents Unless of course thats what the people that established it want but its not like people would lie cheat and steal to protect their epeen and egos right /sarcasm |

PFC does create a nice little space where noob corps can play tag with each other with no severe consequences problem is how many actually use the district they have to attack each other?
If PFC isnt being used im all for burning it down
Problem you have then is that noob corps have to look to try and fight other more estabilshed corps in MH, sure they can do it but sometimes the corp being attacked will hire ringers to do the fighting and may just stomp on the noobs
For new corps coming into PC it could easily cost 100mil just to take one district and frankly how many are prepared to put up and fight and give it ago?
Many corps choose not to play PC because its expenisve, lag reasons, protobears and more fun stomping on noobs in pubs

yea its their choice but also if we don't offer a chance to shine most ppl quit because they cant seem to either get a foot hold in pc or the bigger corps keep mobbing them pfc is a good idea but rarely gets attacked so if you put them in open territory where they are more then likely to get attacked it will give them more experience

this I agree with 100% but will ccp do this? if so how long will it take them to do this is the question? most corps wont be around as much anymore due to them leaving for ps4 and many other games. but I do agree with you |

pfc is being used. but not for pc... most corps in pfc are farming like a mofo. im up for lighting the match on it as well. this will make it so that corps outside in the real pc world not only get the experience they need to survive the better corps but are under attack enough to remember maps and build strats to keep districts wouldn't you agree?

you know this would be more valid if you didn't have only one of the best alliances in the game helping you in pc. these guys have nobody but their 16 players which makes a difference your experienced 16 to their fresh new guys.

If there are going to be more corps then there needs to be tiered battle sizes to accommodate the many smaller corps that currently exist within the game but do not have the player count for sustained 16v16 matches.
If CCP would just introduce additional Districts that supported 8v8 matches on 3-point maps with reduced incentives, then smaller organizations could become active in the title's premiere mode. Not only would it give such groups more experience, stiffer competition and a chance to enter the Meta game....it would also bolster their appeal to newer players and help with their recruitment.
With the current state of the player base, there has to be less exclusivity so there is reasons for players who are not in larger corporations and alliances to log on more often. There needs to be more 'grass roots' capability for organizations to grow and prosper within the Dust side of New Eden. It is the only way small corps can become bigger corps and offer the larger groups a challenge. Otherwise it will continue to be a monopoly of the game's largest alliances and PC will continue to fester and stagnate.
Not even the proposed changes announced at EVE Vegas will help PC grow player-wise. In fact, it will just be even more exclusive and over time...more boring for those playing it. And those of us not playing it will just twiddle our thumbs in Pub Matches :Lamesauce: |

this mentality is why ppl wont do it. a scared mindset.
we came into pc with no skill got our as$es beat several times. and still kept trying. now we have beaten most corps and had battles with AE & nyan san Teamplayers Redstar and many more good corps out there and beaten them and they beaten us. point is that you will only get better playing your grandfather at chess instead of stomping your little brother out all the time and not learning anything.
I respect all corps in the game of pc even if they have ego issues its a competitive game and surviving it means something more then a que synce in fw matches. and id like to see more corps step their $h!t up is all.

that's all im saying too. but helping as far as selling them districts to get in to make some money and a way to have more then 120 clones. because its 90 mill to attack 3 times may be a lot for corps who aren't in pc making isk.. still its hard for them and that's why this thread was made
