Bro, I put on one enhanced shield extender, and it makes almost no difference! It's like I need to use more or something.

The problem is that u need to spend a LOT of SP to prevent to be scanned, while you need little amount of SP to scan almost whatever you want.

i have level 5 profile dam, level 5 gallante scout... what more do i fking need!!

I think 4 levels of Scout class suit and 3 levels of Profile Damp gets you under all the Advanced scanners. You were probably being scanned by someone with a proto scanner. Which is significantly hard to avoid. You would have to be in a Gallente Scout and packing a couple damps, which would kill your tank. Pretty stupid how its setup really. We seriously need to be straight up invisible to these things IMO.

excuse me but only the minmatarr scout gets a bonus to profile dampening. The gallente scout simply increases your passive scanning capability.

+1, this is the same scenario with tanks, you gotta spend all your sp to get into them only to be destroyed by a 700k sp swarm launcher or FG thats worth 47k isk while your tank cost up to 2.6 million isk...

Yeah, and you can spend a couple million sp for a proto set-up dropsuit which also costs a fair bit of isk and can be killed by MLT weapons which cost 0 sp and a few hundred isk.

Alternatively, we could continue true to your comparison and say a proto weapon which is about 700k sp, still less than a full proto dropsuit. Strange, isn't it?

Im tierd of being scanned and kept at a distance in my fking scout suit... WHAT THE F*CK IS THE FU*KING POINT OF A SCOUT IF KEEP GETTING SCANNED!!! I put on one enhanced profile dampener but im still being lit on the enemies radar lie B!+<#!!! buff the scout, do something im fuking unsurvivable if i want to go under the radar (6 hits from a duvolle im dead)

Better Go Logi Profile Tanking.Any of the 4 Logis will make short of scanner users , if you still want speed, go Proto Matari:

x2 Profile dampners (At leat ENH)
x1 Comp Kin Cat
x1 Cardiagc regulator, at least ENH
X4 Shield Extenders
Active scanner
Weapon of choosing

This way you will run fast , for long, have enough profile dampening to avoid all but proto scanners, have HACKING bonus,default Armor repair, your own scanner,maybe R/E too,etc...

Basically Scout v2.0

Level 5 of Scout (5% reduction of Suit Profile per level: 25% reduction)
45db base profile for all Scouts/Light frames.
Standard Scanners: 46db
Advanced Scanners: 36db
Prototype Scanners: 26db
Prototype Focused: 18db

45 * 0.75 = 33.75

Just level 5 of Scout gets you below Advanced scanners, so you're looking at someone running a Prototype. Which means they've also put at least significant effort into the profile game.

One Complex Dampener brings you below all scanners bar the Focused.
