Attract players One of the most unique qualities of Dust is it's connection to a whole other game. Where an average 50,000 players await, advertise. Improve what the players were attracted too I don't know if it would be possible but voice connectivity would be cool with EVE. Strengthen their battle involvement. Currently in FW when you call down a OB you might get a special one if a friend is in the sky. In Dust and EVE they don't really know or realize they have friends- or rather 'useful' friends on the ground. Bring back the warbarge and have it show whos out there. Names, their ship, their race, what kind of OBs do they have? But also make sure that the pilots know us too. Let them know that we can support them. And also possibly destroy them. Introduce those giant LaZor beams of D3ATH that can affect players in EVE. Give requests to strike a ship in EVE. Define and point out what they were attracted to Currently most of the playerbase probably doesn't realize the difference between Public Matches and Factional Warfare. Make sure players know that FW has an actual affect in both systems. Also make FW stand out. That you should play FW not just for role play or other people. Possibly make a notable difference in the reward system. Polish Maybe add a couple feature here and there that have to do with connectivity but make sure the player knows they exist. Add One feature that would be awesome is for mercs to be able to join in game battles of EVE. You don't have give us windows to look out side. Just start out with a titan with clone packs on board or a boarding party. Don't take this seriously at all just yet.
Connectivity should be one of the things that defines dust the most. As a game that connects to players that aren't just doing the same thing you do. Something that is obviously connected, has impact on 2 types of players and 1 universe of characters, and gives you even emotions such as anger that most games don't dare aim for, yet give you sense of freedom of being an actual person in a fantasy world, and addiction which is how I feel about dust and I'm sure many more will if connectivity becomes the goal.
Dust and EVE are just titles. We all play in New Eden.
