I had no idea WTF was going on people teleporting, disappearing, randomly falling down dead for no discernible reason etc... Flux'd then MD'd one guy nothing happened he disappeared I fell down dead and as I was respawning I got +50. Good times lol.

I deal with it by playing in squads as much as possible and my K/D is positivie, even after all the proto stomping, with a STD Amarr logi. Don't complain about proto stomping to proto stompers, because they won't stop. Why should they? They earned their proto gear, one way or the other (if you don't like HOW they earned it, such as through passive SP, that's not their fault), and the point of the gear is to use it. What, should they handicap themselves in everything but PC? It's CCP's job to offer tiered combat modes if players want them. If they don't, proto stomping is fair game. Half the point of the game is building your character's skills and equipment, after all. I do feel like proto gear (not weapons, the scaling there is perfectly fair IMO) balancing isn't working out. The jump from ADV to PRO is often twice as large as the jump from STD to ADV, which makes it feel like there was supposed to be an ELT tier in between the two.

I could mention allot of other Corporations on the Europe server practicing the same behavior, deploying full proto squads and pump stombing every single ambush match. I have been in 6-8 matches repeateable being protostomped by the same Corporation, all sane players leave the match early when they see the opposing squad leaving nothing but a few brave soldiers and allot of new players.

If you where in a war and had a nuke or a knife, what would you choose.
