So I decided to make a thread about the best battle stories you've got. I'd love to hear them...I'm honestly amused by this game and its always so funny when things happen just right to produce an interesting result.
Here's one from mine:
So last night it was on...Skirmish mode, I was wearing my logi juggernaut fitting and I ran up on the big orange tubing inside the compound near the normal "B" objective (the one with two flights of stairs surrounding it) and I placed one tiny little remote explosive.
I ran around, AR'd some folks...got killed, respawned and then I saw it....glistening like an angel with a halo. Right where I had placed my one little dinky remote explosive....there stood 6 baddies, including 1 heavy with a heavy ass kicking machine gun.
;) a smile slithered its way across my face....I cue up the boomer and BOOM!

so 310wpts with one remote explosive....yeah yeah I know, that's YOUR (the guy reading this going wtf that's nothing) normal every detonation kill ratio....but for me, it was pretty bad ass. First time I ever nailed 6 at once AND I grabbed me a couple equipment pops lol
so YEAH!

Story would be better if you identified the map by name, and used the grid locations for the map so that we knew what you were talking about instead of trying to guess which of the 9 maps you might be referring to. Names can be found here, and the grid locations are included on a map in each individual thread.

Fun story for me.
My buddies and I fought hard in a Skirmish on Line Harvest, and earned an orbital, though we save it. Right at the end of the match, we had managed to redline the enemy (maybe a quarter armor left on enemy MCC when they got redlined). This seemed a great time to use the OB as we saw a bunch of reds make a run out of the redline to turn the tide of the battle. I dropped the OB and got 7 kills... and with them earned the second OB, which I then called about 20 seconds later after I was sure those 7 had respawned and killed them all again.
Game. Set. Match. |

Yesterday I was doing a FW match against Ultramarines on Ashland. Pretty much the entire match it was neck-and-neck, with them holding a slight lead on the MCC. They defended really well and as the match went on I was already chalking it up as a loss in my mind, our MCC was a few ticks away from death, we couldn't gain a third objective, and they had too many clones left. But then chaos ensued, clones started depleting left and right. Two ticks left, their team had 4 clones and our team had 5. At that very moment I was spawning in and saw four enemies at Delta, so it's go time! Then, right as I spawn in, my squad earns another orbital strike. Whelp, you know as well as I do where that had to go.

On the domination map with Alpha in the center and the 2 CRUs on each side, all 16 players were camped and taking cover there. Out in one spot. So I jump into cover, drop the explosive and run out and guess what?
Somebody SHOOTS IT
+60 Kill is all I saw on my screen for the next entire minute
My squad mates even thought the I dropped an orbital XD |

I could do many
but this one was the best.
I had deployed with more PIE GD members to Border Gulch, yesterday evening, and decided to make use of my lightly armoured scout tank, with the intent to roll around the map, scan down my enemies, and provide Anit Infantry Support for my Squad.
As usual I roll out to D where I can cover the entire objective, including the letter and the CRU. Over the course of the battle dozens spawn of D and E, as I however between the 2 scanning, and harassing the enemy team.
26/1 in a Soma....

i once stole a vayu and killed around 10 tanks before parking it in front of a forge gunner..
my much better kill was when i was angry at a sniper camping on a hill in the redzone.
i grabbed an md and a dropship...
dropship landed on the sniper and killed him for me...
and i failed to make it out of the redzone..
it was funny.. |

My favorite tale to tell is when I managed to orbital all of the enemies' team members at once. This was on the bridge map we got in early uprising. The enemy had been reduced to control of only the bridge and were trying to hold on to it with literally everything. So I drop our squads orbital on them and I go from 10 kills to 26 and kill a Soma, and an onikuma as well.
My funniest war story is more of my friends tale than mine. It was back in Chrome, my friend and I had made it to the top of one of the middle towers (don't remember exactly which side) on line harvest. My friend wanted down so for some reason he called in an LAV and drove off the ledge. On his way down he hit a hostile dropship and they both blew up. Best part was it said My friend's name(Onikuma)The pilot's name. We were laughing for days. |

My friend and I were on our noob alts, with BPO fits and we were raising hell in our LAV when we saw a tank flying down. The tanker saw us approaching fast and took cover just inside the doorway at Gate 2. I plugged the door with my LAV and got out. The tanker was jumping and hopping helplessly while we hacked his tank and drove off with it... laughing all the way. |

Not all of us print out the maps and refer to items by grid when casually discussing battles.  |

aw yeah but he had a point lol I just didn't think about doing that. It does give better visualization to identify the map and grid where said awesomeness occurred lol |

I spawned in a Sentinel suit on 5 guys trying to hack A on Magnus peak.
I looked at my HMG, said,"Useless piece of ****!". Then threw an M-1 Grenade. Got 3 kills and killed another one with my HMG.
That was just yesterday.
A few days ago I got like 8+ kills with a Caldari medium suit while camping in the stairwell on one of the new maps.
Of course there are my classic stories of taking out Madrugars with basic locus grenades, Breach SMG's, Breach Shotguns... Etc.
There was also the one time I shot a stationary dropship to death with a MassDriver. And who I ask, could forget the great triumph of shooting a gunner out of a stalking dropship?
Oh, there are so many more tales. Though, those are all for another time. |

Nor do I, but what is to stop you from looking up the maps on the forums which are conveniently placed so that you can better tell your story after the fact? |
