I am simply giving everyone a goal. For it is when something has a TRUE GOAL that it can truly flourish. For I do NOT want this game to die. I want there to be more than just 1-3 elite corps.... I want there to be MANY!

And to do that I believe I may be willing to burn everything to the ground first. For destruction is also creation. Perhaps the greatest form of it. For what better way can corporations become better, than with TRUE compition with high stakes?

For my goal, is to give all the Indie Corpserations a goal. And that goal is TO BECOME GREAT!

For that goal I offer up a prize. You may be afraid to lose your only district, but it is in that Pinnacle of DESTRUCTION, it is in the FACE OF DEATH, that a corporation's true resolve shows. As such, I have created this special prize.

But you scoff at it! You simply hide away from becoming great!?

ok, ok, I sort of see your point, there should be high stakes and true adversity to forge great Corporations. I have to admit that I haven't been fired up in this forum since I registered until now. My only concern is that just when my Corp was starting to get our tactics going and ranks filled, we got hit unexpectedly with a MAJOR rule change. Don't you think if your going to make such a huge change in the rules there should have been ample and sufficient time to prepare for it? Your announcement of this 40% of ownership on the PFC contest, and even the very idea that flipping a district in now legal, as far as I can tell, was only known by THE LATINO KILLERS. Do they have some sort of advantage to information that we are not privy to? We are working on extremely active enrollment, and are making headway in our search for a proper fit for an alliance. Our goal was to eventually start heading out into the galaxy to take our place among the greats, and one day passing the PFC district to another up and coming Corporation. Instead we have been blindsided by a Corp that is 5 times our size with no time to prepare for their very real attack. If this is your idea of fair policing, then you may have a shot at becoming a real police officer one day. You already have the political part down. If this is the only way, then we will take this district back, and it will be very bloody.

That's a new one on me, where can I find the details of said "special prize", or any information on this contest?

Just curious, has anyone attempted to contact them to see if they know the rules and what not? Dont think I have ever seen someone from the corp you mentioned post on these forums.

Venezuela Corp with the help of LCC tried to pull that on HS last week. They attacked 5 days in a row. We held them off a couple games and they took us out a couple. We have since locked out district to get our clone count back up.

If this be the new format for PFC i will let our directors know. However.. I agree that we should have been informed of this sooner. Perhaps we would have put in our total A team instead of putting in some noobs to try and get them PC ready.

Either way the fights were fun and close. I look forward to more of them to come!

this has often been an issue with PFC, nearly all our attacks have been from corp wanting to take the district.. nearly ALWAYS using ringers to do so.

We do have photographic proof in all cases, but have never bothered to publish it. preferring to stand on our own when we can.

However, and agreement with all the PFC corps to defend against this sort of attack would benefit all, in my humble opinion,

Same with us... we usually try to handle it ourselves instead of QQ'ing on public forums. But if they can't handle it themselves... might be time to call in some ringers of their own.

and I agree, QQ in public is not really our style, in fact, we lost our PFC district not so long ago (we hope to be getting it back.. cos TSOLE aren't morons)

Perhaps a joint channel for the CEO's and directors of PFC corps would not be a bad idea. While I would not condone using a channel to get ringers for your districts, (we should be able to stand on our own) it perhaps would be a useful tool for the passing of info and to find help when a PFC corp is under attack from someone not "playing by the rules"

I do think however.. any PFC corp needs to holds it own.

There is one thing that does interest me. DSI have a coalition with a another corp. we are not in an allaince but do have joint ops and a MDP. Where do we stand if we wish to invite them.

Our biggest issue and the reason we lost our district comes down to size.. can DSI put out a team to defend our district? Yes. Can we put out the full 16? Yes. can we do that 4 or 5 nights in a row?, well to be honest, Not really. This is how we lost our district, we were attack at the end of a tiring week (and we don't lock it). we could only get 7 guys online vs PC vets

another issue we have is that we always assume that an attack is "freindly" and will always give a chance for our less expirenced guys to fight, this has often lead to us losing the first few fights untill we bring in the "a-gamers" for the final battle. Thjs tends to mean, our newer guys get stomped and this has a bad effect on our moral, but surely that is the whole point of PFC, getting newer and smaller guys involved?!?!?!?!

The rules are just guidelines. I don't think they mind you calling in another corp if your full squad can't make it.. just dont let it become a regular thing. PFC is for PC training for new and smaller corps and new members. That's what the whole point of it was... to get guys ready for a "higher form of war." It wasn't intended for larger corps to come in and get their rocks off by beating up on the little guys or the guys trying to train new members on the tactics of PC. I know there are a few heavy hitters out there that are still willing to fight for this ideal. Even if A.E. won't police it... there are others that will.
