It's not that bad, but it is not easy money either. As it stands, it is really good at long range combat, especially with the Scrambler Rifle and Laser Rifle, but even get into SMG range and you will be killed faster than a scout.
Also, the standard Commando has no modules. So the health you see, is the health you get.
It's not a bad suit, just requires a very specialized load out for very specific situations.
I've been surviving a few close combat situations now, just got to figure out that scrambler rifle hip fire plus your 240 melee damage. As far as standard getting no mods, that's not such a big deal since all the mods I use at advanced or proto are buffer mods anyways. So the standard ends up with less health than the other suits, that's usually how it works anyways. |

Yeah I agree with that, the suits themselves are a good bit more expensive than the others. Still managed to get my advanced fit down to under 35k, but if I were to swap better mods/equipment for better weapons the price goes up quite a bit.
Don't know why CCP thought the Commando would be so good they needed to add a premium to the price. |
