He was better than me when he was a scout Respect for giving credit. I wasn't sure if it was Xero or the OP calllogi but he still destroyed after and that killed any doubt i had, Xero is a beast. An A$$ H0le, but a damn beast. And truthfully we're not mentioning exmaple who really could be argued against lightning.

But I was only answering the title with my own opinion based on what ive witnesed in person.

Scout shotgunners have to play more tactically and are easy to kill when discovered. In a 1v1, Med frames have a huge advantage. Med Frame Shotgunners can literally just wreak havoc, especially when speed tanked. Only problem is the fact that they attract alot of attention and can't evade scanners, so they HAVE to be good shots to survive. Just my 0.02 ISK.

Became scout shotgunners Seems like it is a natural transition for a heavy HMG player for some reason. They either choose the polar opposite of a heavy, which is a scout shotgunner, or take it one step further and spec into tanks.

So take it how you want or think how you want, I never liked the fact that during this time period it was ridiculous trying to fight a KB/M. Their spin radius was super fast (if not faster) and more responsive on fighting.

HMG Heavy = ducking from cover to cover, flanking as best you can, spanking at close range Shotty Scout = ducking from cover to cover, flanking as best you can, spanking at close range + speed x5 Similar play style, just a choice between slow and beefy or fast and fragile. Most dedicated heavies I know have dabbled with Shotty Scout at some point or another. I gave it a rest in Uprising, but it was damn fun at one point.
