I was simply saying they give far too many WP. I mean I run scanners and light up the whole map with reds for my squad to destroy.. How is that less useful than a spawned dood? I know many people who run with uplinks JUST for the points.. I want uplinks to yield good points but place them equal to other equipment so that we get some diversity. To reinforce this point, I could argue that a well used nanite injector is a more powerful tool towards winning but no one runs with them anymore because they don't farm WP as easily. I just want some balance :)

I think up links are awesome. But some people don't go through a lot of trouble and just throw them somewhere for points, because they give A LOT of points. What I would like to see is an incentive for good uplink locations and more points for resuppling teammates / repairing armour. I think the only way to balance it in a simple manner is to reduce the points of a spawn and increase the points of the other two equipments. If you wanna get more complex like you get 10 percent of the points which spawned people earn for one minute or something , similar to what I heard about dropship spawning a while ago, I'm all for it. My issue is stupid uplinks which stupidly earn stupid people stupid points because of stupid blueberries.

Maybe you dedicated logi/uplink users haven't figured out where I was going with this, poor explaining on my part. Reducing up link points will not really affect those who are good up link users. All it will do is reduce the incentive for stupid uplink spammers. With less uplinks scattered all around it puts a high value on the placement of uplinks, gives less spawn points = more points for dedicated uplinkers (you would get all the spawn points rather than splitting them with a stupid uplinker), and also bring balance to the equipment carried on the battlefield.
