As many of you know by now, Ahrendee Mercenaries has removed itself from PC. We weren't going to make a statement and, up to this point, haven't needed any sort of PR threads or officer. However in light of recent posts, we felt it prudent to set things straight and provide the relevant facts.
First and foremost, we want to make clear that RND is not breaking apart, nor are we leaving Dust altogether.
The decision to remove ourselves from PC has been one we've discussed for a several weeks now. Like many other well-known (and well-worn) corporations, we've been suffering from inactivity lately. To accommodate the players in RND still interested in PC, we decided to continue to hold districts until such time as it became untenable.
That time has come. We haven't fielded a full team consistently in weeks, perhaps longer, and with our numbers continuing to drop, the choice was finally made to drop PC altogether.
Overall, we're proud of what we, and the EoN alliance, has achieved up to this point. Leaving PC is bittersweet for many of us, but was the right move for the corporation as a whole.
But rumors of our death have been greatly exaggerated. RND is not breaking apart and despite our currently low activity, some of us still enjoy the game and continue to hope for Dust's future. At some point down the line we hope to once again make an impact in New Eden. |

I will continue to wear the Ahrendee tag proudly, and will happily help out any friendly corp in PC matches as required.
People left because they got bored... so when CCP actually puts interesting stuff into the game, expect RND members to come back in droves. When that day comes.... watch out :) |

I dont miss 5 fps at all :) but i do miss the old guys from chromosome that quit early. And despite what others might say, we have had ups and downs since beta, toughest time was when the imps ***** slapped the life out of us, but we were never founded on quitting when the going gets tough. A game that literally doesnt work cannont be played competitively. If im not beating up on newbs fighting for amarr, i reside my gaming life in gta. Peace to all fighting for the life of this game. |

I don't want to be "bad water" but at the time that Dust gets better, CCP decides to make something productive for the game (not a new "adminstrative" function like assign directors or some crap like that", there will be hundreds and hundres of finished games.
I think most of the Dust community didn't understand the difference between "New Content" and "Basic Content".
This game is not even finished, pure and simple.
CCP is selling you "new content" as "new packs" and some crap like that, but there is not even a basic content to work with.
There is a "10 years plan" for this game. But they say add on when they don't even add the basic stuff (suits for example)
You just can't ask for people to wait and wait for "SOMETHING BASIC" when in the other side there is games, games and more new games, new consoles, etc.
Have been better if they talked always with the truth.
Thank you for the closed beta key. I enjoyed the game but there is a time to move on, and if the game doesn't move forward, you need to leave it behind. I can't wait 4 years for a basic weapon, or something, but meh, that's my opinion.
They had a lot of time to fix the game, to finish it. But they decided to present an unfinished game like a full game that will have "new content" all the time. They starting lying. I don't know, I think it was a bad move to present a game with this advertising because people played it, felt dissapointed and then they just left it.
So, for all the people that will be playing with the heavy Gallente/Caldari/Minmatar, or the light Caldari/Amarr I wish you the best. I will be playing Final Fantasy XIXI in my PS5

It really sucks to see so many players go, but everyone is going through it. I don't have any fun playing on my main anymore.
I've got a bit of a challenge right now with an alt in a role I've never played, but I don't know how long this will stay interesting. For me it's grown tiresome to play huge maps with only 6 of my corpmates.

At least you still have a corp. I lost mines after I served through its lows and they dropped me at their height. How do you think I feel? |

I have maximum respect for RND for this, you can no longer hold your own districts and gave them up rather than pure ringers.
You clearly have and honour.
Personally I'd like to see ringer intensive corps gangked out of PC, mercs are in war for profit, not for the sake of it, mercs hiring mercs tops the list of stupidity for me but obviously alliance ringers is absolutely fine.
When its not a laggy joke and there's more gun game and swamp had grown in size we shall take part. |

nowadays its Corp A and friends vs Corp B + AE/OH/TEAM (and others)

The corps involved in PC that are not ready yet should not be there and if they had any sense they wouldn't be there. What man wants someone fighting for them seriously? My girls got more balls than that.
The helping of these corps does nothing to help the same way giving a tramp spare change or a note don't help, that fker will go buy a beer and be back at square one.
The corps who could legitimately do PC can't because of this and is another reason people quit or just join ready made corps. To make it worse rather than accept the loss of a district, re group and take it back people lock their districts.
Furthermore Every single thing to improve PC is void by lag and kicks. Even if corp A fights corp B, one will lag more or get more random boots than the other.
