I'm not sure how vehicle scanners work, but if it's like handheld scanners then it would be cool if my LAV/Dropship could share scan results with everyone onmy team. |

Your scan results is shared only with the crew, and that's it. Beside that the 'strongest' VS is not able to detect proto infantry with scan reduction mods and it work only on 100m.

You mean the vehicle scanner that we have except it should scan to the whole squad at least and that it should also give WP to the driver for any assists by squad members killing them
Its the same with using the MCRU, we should get 50WP for ppl spawning into it but we dont
Everything for infantry, nothing for vehicles |

I would like to see variations of scanners for both vehicles and infantry. Some that light up for the whole team but have a much longer cooldown or less range would be nice. |

Nope
Only ppl who can see the scan results are those in the vehicle
Bonus tho with the scanner is that it picks up anybody, but not equipment |

with the up coming changes to vehicles I'm not sure scanners will be widely used. at least for tanks we are losing slots and will need to compensate I haven't looked at lavs or DSs but I would assume the same would be true. |

I don't know about LABs but I think DSs are keeping their slots.
I'd like to see vehicles get a better role in the scouting field. Maybe give some of them a built in scanner so take advantage of those SP points they will be getting in the future. |

I can't approve. It's already incredibly easy to scan with vehicles. To maintain the balance between vehicle & handheld scanners, there needs to be a limit on how effective they are. |

Vehicles have to sacrifice a slot(guess a low) to fit it. Also, make it expensive. |

Cost is not a valid method of balance. And suits have to sacrifice far more to fit a scanner than vehicles do. |

well considering that remote repping is still kind of a clusterfuck, it might be an interesting thing to add to logistics LAVs?
logistics dropships can easily serve as mobile spawns because of the spare seats, not so much for a logi LAV. so what do they actually do? other than be ramming douchemobiles? and what does being a ramming douchemobile have to do with logistics?
some kind of special scanning ability feels like it fits the role and the vehicle well. |

Not really, I have a quantum on my scout suit. |
