Why would I want to do that?
We, the players, are experiencing something that doesn't happen often.
I have been here since closed beta.
Despite the many issues that have come and gone, and those that persist.
How often does anyone get to play a game that is evolving even as you play?
Most games spend years in development, while we, the players, have to wait
for it to be released. Yes, there are issues.
But we are playing the game as it grows and becomes something that no other
game has done before -- tie into some other game that is so different from Dust.
When Dust finally gets fully tied into EvE, we will be the ones who helped make it so.

I, for one, am still excited about that in itself.
And I will be here for the long haul.

But, that's just IMHO.

I love this game, I LAN party with my friends every week playing dust. Any new friend I make with a PS3 I can recruit because this game is FTP.

Hell yes, dude. This game is getting better and better, and once we can destroy PI or board stations, or otherwise affect the EVE universe as a larger piece, the real potential of Dust will be realized.

I just played a match against a bunch of proto heavies in my 17k standard suit with a standard mass driver.

Went 25/6...probably pissed off a lot of them.

1.5 will encourage players to stop a hack now, rather than stand around waiting for it to complete just so they can re-hack for wp.
It also encourages players to take out any enemy item they can, instead of ignoring them, like nanohives, uplinks and vehicles left unattended.
And I like the headshot bonus wp.

Anyway this patch was geared towards new people that are coming into dust which really needed some love. U normal can't please both vets and new people in one patch tbh

LoL...Blues have been doing that all along...
The rare times I bring a LAV down, I usually have to keep driving around away from the action until the Blues get tired of shooting nothing and leave it. Then I put the pedal to the metal and get back to where I was headed to begin with before getting out and recalling it.
And yes, the lock is essential -- it should be made so.

Well, I never said blues are bright, but the only impact 1.5 would have is if the take your vehicle, drive it to enemy nano's ,etc. to get the wp for taking them out.
Now that I could see being a negative outcome of 1.5.

Meh. The Battlefield 4 beta is more "together" than this game. I kind of miss all my shots registering.

... And destroying buildings that snipers sit on.

... And reliable aiming.

... And tanks that aren't super goliaths but also not fluffy kittens.
