Question for snipers. How many double kills have you gotten? I ask, because I've only witnessed one(and of course I was half of it). I figured they have to be rare because snipers themselves aren't a OHK outside of a headshot. I don't know what the next to me had in HP, but it was certainly a headshot on me that made the double kill. I immediately sent him an in game message giving him props on the shot, lol |

What sniper rifle was it? Most likely it was someone with a tac rifle or just someone with really good aim and fast enough to get two headshots right in a row (well that goes whether it was a tac or not). I remember sniping two snipers that were sitting right next to each other back in Chromosome with a charged riffle; I aimed at one's head & fired when the dot came back down from the recoil it landed right on the other dude's head sand then I shot him too. So I don't believe it's possible to get a double kill with a sniper rifle in DUST.
I know with the Thale's I've gotten kills fast enough that by the time the first registers on the kill feed the 2nd one pops up there immediately after it like it would if you got a double kill with a grenade. So that might be what's making you think it's a double kill. |

Sometime you lucky placing lethal (last) shot on LAV or HAV for kill assist, but instead you do a double\triple kill with sniper rifle. I killed 2 times LAV & 1 HAV like that with Charge SR
Or you witnessed 2 fast kills (headshots) or on weakened enemy. |

One shot, two kills isn't something I recall doing. It is quite easy to get rapid serial kills, though.
Double kills are easiest for me when I'm shooting at two close together relatively still targets - like snipers or swarm launcher guys on buildings. Guys waiting for vehicles are sometimes easy kills. The stopped clown car loaded with infantry is nice to snipe the passengers. When more than one guy is hacking the same thing, you can often snipe both if you have the right angle.
The medic and downed player can be a source of three kills when you do it right and are lucky. One for the initial guy you snipe, one for the medic and one for the guy who was revived. A sniper rifle with a rapid ROF like the Kaalakiota is good for this.

If you are camping a clone point you could get incredibly lucky or two guys both running south of your FOV through your scope almost in single file for an extended period of time you might get lucky, though probably more of a range glitch that anything else. |

I know there is soft target projectile penetration for SRs in this game. I assume two heads lined up perfectly would be the shot of a lifetime. I know it was one shot 2 kills he got. Probably the luckiest shot of his life. It was an ADV SR, that I remember. I've gotten collateral damage assists with SRs, but never the 1S2K.
Maybe it has been done only 3-4 times in the game(post beta)... lucky me, lmao... |

I've shot down a drop ship with a swarm launcher and had it die into another drop ship, that counts as a two for one right? |
