Isk is incentive enough! On the hitmans side!
However there is a problem you don't get quite so many copies of spaceships as you do dropsuits. People run specific ships and often do regular activities.
In EVE there is a reason not to loose your ships, they can put you back weeks! In DUST it only costs you 250,000 isk max per suit. So its not like you really have to protect an investment!
There needs to be a reason for someone to be fearful when a bounty is placed on their head. They shouldn't be looking forward to cannon fodder. |

Hopefully that will change once the player run economy is finally running and suits become exceedingly expensive. But that won't be for maybe another year at the earliest.
I hope you don't think suits become too expensive! If suit prices are gonna up, your average joe is gonna need more than pub matches and bounties for income. I mean a lot more! |

The general consensus is that we should adopt the Eve Online style of bounty hunting which is one of the most balanced bounty systems so far. True. but when I was thinking about it, is isk enough of a incentive? That's why started thinking about the extra SP. ISK is a much greater incentive since its something that you constantly need every time you finish a match. The rewards become much greater if the Eve Online bounty system is adopted. Read the evelopedia concerning this on how the system works. https://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/BountyIt also had the power of making the target suffer longer financially. If you do the math, the bounty target will have to lose 500 million ISK worth of suits, equipment, vehicles, etc. just to clear a 100 million ISK bounty assuming 20% of the value of the lost asset is subtracted from the bounty pool and added to the hunter's wallet. Man this would be awesome. Could we make it so you have had to been killed by the person in a match a few times before you can place a bounty on them? I know it breaks with the spirit of the whole thing, but I can see people abusing this and just putting bountys on the top players only.
People can only place bounties if they have enough money. Also why spend money to grief someone? Especially since they can switch to std, and have pub match ambushes till they clear! |

Which only emphasizes the importance of implementing PVE and better rewards for faction warfare.
True, but we aren't ready for that yet, Id rathher have all the suits and weapons first. In the meantime, use the forums, people have-ádone so already! First evidenced kill gets the full bounty.
Damn I just thought of a new thing Macken!! You buy in at 100k isk, your name is put in a pot and a target is selected. You have 48hrs to evidence the kill on the target to recieve 50% of the buy in total, the target automatically recieves 40%, but gets bumped to 70% if they survive.
Call it Manhunt or something! |

Are you willing to clear a 100 million ISK bounty by losing 500 million ISK worth of gear?
If its not gonna cost me much in the long run! |

How long does it take for you to lose 10 million ISK worth of stuff?
Depends full proto, could loose a mill a match! But the point is, im not really gonna be bothered, ill just do PvE or other bounties to supplement my income, but with all the blueberries throwing themselves infront of my mass driver ill probably make money in the end. Even if suits become expensive in an FPS environment we burn through to many to really be bothered about a price on our heads!
The fear of loosing my 10million isk worth of suits is no bother is I earn enough from their deaths to buy 11millions isk worth afterwards!
