You would think having all racial dropsuits and weapons before being released as a "complete" game would have been the top priority. Then on top of that making sure they were balanced so none have any clear advantage over any of the others. It sure would have been for any other company. The reviews for this game are complete ****, so odds are people have already written this game off. There are two possibilities for this game. (A) It is a slow burner that will develop over several years before people start to take notice again and give it another go. (B) It is slowly dwindling over a period of 2 years and the developers are just half assing things to maximize profits before cutting and running. |

Im sorry, but both are moddeled on the humvee, also doesn't have locks, it doesn't even have a key! Carries 1 driver, 1 gunner, 1 passenger OR 1 driver, 4 passengers.
Its reinforced bodywork provide mobile cover from small arm's fire, the gunner provides unparalleled suppresion an area denial, and its low slung wide base, make it perfect for rapid transport across flat(ish) terrain. |

When beer is available, warthogs drink regularly and enjoy wallowing in Dusty places. As part of their grooming they also take sand baths, rub against Clones and LAV mounds and let tick Dropships pick Bullets off their bodies.
Warthogs live in Pubstomping groups of a Protobear and her young. Sometimes another Protobear will join the group. Males normally live by themselves, only joining the groups to mate. Warthogs engage in ritual fights in which they charge straight on, clashing heads when they meet. Fights between Protobears can be violent and bloody.
Warthogs sleep and rest in Quarters, which at times they line with Dead Newberries, perhaps to make them warmer. Although they can excavate, warthogs normally do not dig holes but use those dug by other Clones, preferably aardvarks. |

I have millions worth of isk just sitting collecting dust(teehee). It's ridiculous that this game is already 3+ years in the making and I can't sell my stuff or give it to someone else. Open market was a big draw to me when I first started and it's crazy we still don't have it yet and that it's not a priority. What's the point of giving me salvage that I'll never use and can't sell. |

Hopefully squad finder will turn them from dingleberries to an actual team. I'm excited for it. Even though I have tons of people to play with I'll still probably use it to meet new people. |

Please, list other simple things this game should have but doesn't. "It's a lot of work [doing another version], it's a lot of effort from the dev team which then does not go into delivering features and polishing up the current experience - really our focus is on that. "It's easy to go and look at all the new shiny things that are coming but we don't want to be doing that. We want to stick to our guns ... there are 80 million PlayStation 3s and we have a free-to-play game; I think there is a massive opportunity in continuing to work on that throughout next year." Even the game's transition to PS4, which seemed like a done deal when CCP spoke earlier this year, now isn't so certain. "We just haven't decided," P+¬tursson told me. "It's just as simple as that. It can, technically, be - there's nothing preventing it, it's just not what we're focusing on. "Now we're eating our vegetables rather than having dessert," whatever that means. The boss has come down and given them crap ;) no more shinny without game mechanics which is what CCP usually works on first.
Quote:Deep space dogfighting and first-person parkour may not seem to have a lot in common, but according to Eve: Valkyrie's executive producer Owen O'Brien, CCP's own virtual reality dogfighting game takes lessons from DICE's Mirror's Edge.
Speaking to Polygon, the recently-appointed O'Brien said he was drawn to Eve: Valkyrie because it was a unique opportunity to do something "cutting edge" with a small team. He also plans to bring his experience working on Mirror's Edge to help inform Eve: Valkyrie's design.
"Mirror's Edge was built around a strong core mechanic [of first-person movement], but one of the lessons I learned from it was you've got to have all the other bits there as well," he said. "We had a great core mechanic, but we failed in some other areas. I think sometimes it's easy to think the mechanic on its own is enough, but it's not. It needs to be backed up with a fully-rounded game that has a reason for people to come back and start playing after they've gotten over the initial 'wow' moment." As example of what CCP recruited for the Valkyrie project EP.
So yeah, we will have to be patient while stuff get's done that should of already... and rapid fire content shinnies coming out because core mechanics being so sound... But here we are. Learning and moving on. |

So basically that is saying that from now on they will work on core mechanics first before content? Making sure things work before releasing them and then removing it a short time later (looking at DS). It feels like CCP has removed more content than they've released.

I think your missing the most important line from the CEO out of everything.

It's a slip and truth telling at the same time. also check the date of that article as I did quote from a website. The backlashes has warranted direct attention from him. I don't feel we will see the full product of that oversight until 1.6. But it's gonna be some of the most extensive rework's we have seen in DUST. Texture pack's aside. |

Sucks it's going to take so long, but I guess there is relief in the knowledge that it is coming eventually. Hopefully they will focus on core features as well, not just mechanics. Im talking full racial variants, more weapon variants, etc.. |
