This is the F'n future, why doesn't my LAV have door locks?
Where is the balance in the market? Why can I still not sell items back to the marketplace?
As mentioned before, a green dot next to online contacts.
Please, list other simple things this game should have but doesn't. |

Not only that, but I can't talk to or eject the dingleberries from my DS. |

Crash Monster wrote:No kidding on the market... hell, have the market buy back at 50% of the sale price... at least you could get things out of your inventory if you are sure you don't need/want them.
I have millions worth of isk just sitting collecting dust(teehee). It's ridiculous that this game is already 3+ years in the making and I can't sell my stuff or give it to someone else. Open market was a big draw to me when I first started and it's crazy we still don't have it yet and that it's not a priority. What's the point of giving me salvage that I'll never use and can't sell. |

Please, list other simple things this game should have but doesn't. no more lavs dust is an infantry game for the next few months..thats why i said wp for transport mean nothing when they arnt giving us a vehicle lock. and as for the squad finder only helpfull to blueberries
Hopefully squad finder will turn them from dingleberries to an actual team. I'm excited for it. Even though I have tons of people to play with I'll still probably use it to meet new people. |

Please, list other simple things this game should have but doesn't. "It's a lot of work [doing another version], it's a lot of effort from the dev team which then does not go into delivering features and polishing up the current experience - really our focus is on that. "It's easy to go and look at all the new shiny things that are coming but we don't want to be doing that. We want to stick to our guns ... there are 80 million PlayStation 3s and we have a free-to-play game; I think there is a massive opportunity in continuing to work on that throughout next year." Even the game's transition to PS4, which seemed like a done deal when CCP spoke earlier this year, now isn't so certain. "We just haven't decided," P+¬tursson told me. "It's just as simple as that. It can, technically, be - there's nothing preventing it, it's just not what we're focusing on. "Now we're eating our vegetables rather than having dessert," whatever that means. By Robert Purchese Published Tuesday, 1 October 2013 The boss has come down and given them crap ;) no more shinny without game mechanics which is what CCP usually works on first. Quote:Deep space dogfighting and first-person parkour may not seem to have a lot in common, but according to Eve: Valkyrie's executive producer Owen O'Brien, CCP's own virtual reality dogfighting game takes lessons from DICE's Mirror's Edge.
Speaking to Polygon, the recently-appointed O'Brien said he was drawn to Eve: Valkyrie because it was a unique opportunity to do something "cutting edge" with a small team. He also plans to bring his experience working on Mirror's Edge to help inform Eve: Valkyrie's design.
"Mirror's Edge was built around a strong core mechanic [of first-person movement], but one of the lessons I learned from it was you've got to have all the other bits there as well," he said. "We had a great core mechanic, but we failed in some other areas. I think sometimes it's easy to think the mechanic on its own is enough, but it's not. It needs to be backed up with a fully-rounded game that has a reason for people to come back and start playing after they've gotten over the initial 'wow' moment." By Tracey Lien on Sep 13, 2013 at 3:00p As example of what CCP recruited for the Valkyrie project EP. So yeah, we will have to be patient while stuff get's done that should of already... and rapid fire content shinnies coming out because core mechanics being so sound... But here we are. Learning and moving on.
So basically that is saying that from now on they will work on core mechanics first before content? Making sure things work before releasing them and then removing it a short time later (looking at DS). It feels like CCP has removed more content than they've released.

I think your missing the most important line from the CEO out of everything. Quote:"It's a lot of work [doing another version], it's a lot of effort from the dev team which then does not go into delivering features and polishing up the current experience - really our focus is on that." It's a slip and truth telling at the same time. also check the date of that article as I did quote from a website. The backlashes has warranted direct attention from him. I don't feel we will see the full product of that oversight until 1.6. But it's gonna be some of the most extensive rework's we have seen in DUST. Texture pack's aside.
Sucks it's going to take so long, but I guess there is relief in the knowledge that it is coming eventually. Hopefully they will focus on core features as well, not just mechanics. Im talking full racial variants, more weapon variants, etc.. |
