 "syndicate" submachine gun

 or

 "toxin" icd 9 submachine gun

i didnt see any difference in stats when browsing for a bpo sub gun.

anyone prefer one over the other? are these the "best" bpo sub guns?

also, if i buy 1 shield extender bpo, can i stack that same "1" in 2 or 3 slots?

 thanks

Buy them all. They'll be worth a lot when the market comes.

thanks, why have two different ones, with only different colors? are they left over bpo's from various packs or something? i mean, 2 exact same sub gun bpo's, but all kinds of various weapons/suits with ZERO bpo's

It's actually a lot worse than that.

Guess how many identical AR BPOs that have come out? How many Caldari Assault suit BPOs? More than 2...

It's meant to be cosmetic, but it's a little odd with so many things not having BPOs to have all the repeats.

Most of the militia dropsuit BPOs aren't that useful. The pg / cpu mods can be handy, and the militia uplink / hacking module can be good for suicide suits that you'll die in constantly...but if you manage to get away from the fighting you can have a huge impact on the match.

What's really worth it though is the vehicle blueprints. Particularly for making free LAVs if you bought a veteran or elite pack.

i had to replace my ps3 back in february and it came with a pack in code for dust. it had 20k aurum, 7 day active, "grustis saga LAV bpo" and a bunch of consumables. its what got me started on dust514

Yeah, so if you bought some vehicle module BPOs you could take that LAV and turn it into a disposable transport. I'd look at the shield hardeners, power diagnostic system / reactor control and possibly the shield booster. I really haven't been a vehicle guy since last summer so I'm not sure, but I think the blueprint shield extender you can get is meant for tanks (won't fit on a LAV)

Correct me if i'm wrong, in eve u can sell copies of an original bpo (or so im told). This could become a big deal if manufacturing ever becomes a part of dust.

I don't believe for a second this is the end of BPO's. How much you want to bet within a couple months a whole new set of BPOs makes its way to the market. This is just CCP pushing those on the fence into buying them for more $$$.

In terms of BPO's worth getting - It depends on your skills and character. But in general there is usually one suit of your race worth having (Gal scout, Militia heavy, Cal Assault and 'Sever' Logi)
Weapon wise any of the smg's are a good investment. But be prepared to fork out a little more for the slightly better light weapons (in packs). The militia ones are ok but those are more versitile

Or that the Syndicate seems to have better range and less dispersion - Again not in the stats so we can't directly compare

I am pretty sure you can 'stack' your shield BPO multiple times over.

I mean speaking from experience, I have a fit that has dual Toxins, and they are both the same one blueprint.

I already had a 'Toxin' Assault Rifle, so i chose to have my SMG with different color and got the 'Syndicate'.

Also as a Minmatar weapon i felt like it's revolutionary backstory was more interesting. On the other hand, the 'Toxin' SMG has the same description as the AR and the poisonous effect it claims to have is actually just fictional.

Anyway, they're just the same so it's up to you which one to choose.
