Anyone else find that they can't stand not having a full clip at all times? I've been like this since the first game I played that had a reload button, don't know if it's a bit of an OCD thing or what. I even sometimes press reload while heading into the fray, even though I know damn well the clip's full!

Best to have a full magazine for whatever you may encounter next. I use a mass driver and it sometimes takes an entire magazine to kill someone so i also reload whenever i get a chance.

If I'm using a HMG I'll still reload as often as possible, as long as its not complete suicidal lunacy then I'll be behind a wall frantically stuffing more bullets in.

As for the topic, it's a good habit to reload after each engagement (depending on the weapon of course...I'm looking at you HMG) but generally I reload if I have the time.

Use a weapon that doesn't take as long to reload. Because of tip 1 I can reload a HMG in 6 seconds instead of 8 I also use an assault scrambler rifle. Larger ammo cap, shorter reload, lower rate of fire (doesn't use up ammo as fast), more damage.

Hahahaha its funny since all your shots land because of autoaim and it only takes 6 to 8 shots to kill most people hahahaha you ar users make me laugh.

Hahahaha and there's me thinking it's just me, I sometimes do it just as I see an enemy even though I know i've got a 96% full clip anyway, it's a freaking horrible habbit that I can't seem to shake!!! +1 because we reload addicts have to stick together!
