What it is NOT: shay-zee shaz ** shay eye-dash-shayz-dash-eye Edit: I can't believe it blocked shi.z Most people always assume the shortest word is 4 letters long when reading a name (alias in this case), so when they see something like Shayz they'll usually assume the first two; shay-z or shaz/shaaz. and shay are usually occurrences when a person's brain has adapted to shortening names/words, even if they're already short. When someone actually SAYS eye-dash-shayz-dash-eye I think they'd be doing it for * and giggles. I don't know of anyone who'd pronounce that literally.
