i havent logged on in a couple days. considered it, today, but then read the stats on vehicle changes and it's just another tank nerf so i dont think we will ever get a buff. i might get on this weekend for a game or two but that's it. |

Standard vehicles are OP ... they need to be nerfed so you can have the advanced and proto ones back.

while I understand that part, AV needs to be nerfed as well so that there can actually be balance and not just any ******* ****** can solo the proto tanks. |

well they could have perhaps increased rack size.
This ONLY works if the efficacy of modules has gone up by a pretty good percent. But fitting choices are diminished greatly :(
(Speaking DS perspective, and future air vehicles) I never bought a tank. |

This doesnt take into account racial variance... Mod changes aside i "guess" this works... too many slots would be OP, more makes sense for the specialist types (Enforcer, Marauder, Black Ops) |

As many as needed. Vehicles are a tricky thing in "every" game, but is much, much worst in Dust 514. Tiers, Modules, Core Skills, racial variations... is just to many factors to take into account.
You guys just want your "God Mode" titan, or what ever the **** you use in EvE. But in a FPS, overpowered vehicles are game breaking. It needs to be a comprise between power and durability. |

Care to reveal your sources for such a statement !
Also it's been stated by CCP that AV will also need to be "looked at" during this vehicle overhaul.
Complain when you have the complete picture AND you've tried it, for now be grateful you've been given an update on the way they are heading with things. |

one plausible situation is that (everyone knew DS needed big HP buff)
DS kept fitting slots. Tank lost a couple.
IF fitting modules are now 20% better --> DS are fine with current slots, tanks would be OP with previous slots. Then perhaps higher level tanks and dropships will gain more slots leaving the more 'interesting' fitting choices to exist beyond 'standard' vehicles.
It's plausible. Of course history has me concerned . |

Either way there's still scope to make further racial variations and specialisations. |
