I was wondering, in term of time, what has been considered as Eve infancy period? |

honestly i'm not sure, I played even about 4 years after it's release off and on for about a year.
if you look at it today from what I played then it's an entirely different game.

We could say that 10 years after, the game have matured quite nicely.
I can't see why the same model wouldn't apply to Dust.
I've played this game only 8 month and a lot of players have played it a lot less than that. Yet, they have severe expectations and no patience.
Hell, we play a lot and intensively. Everything has to come out fast these days. Chillax, give it some time and give it some slack. |

I think the moment eve started to feel like a rounded out game was the first change to exploration, when they reduced the one hour scanning time to some less, um... hardcore. |

The good thing about dust is, once you have a few million SP, you can come back at any time and it doesn't feel like a struggle. IMHO. |

I went away for a few month to do real life summer stuff, I play maybe one game a day. Its a nice casual shooter set in the eve universe. Saves me staring at a ship while I wait for so and so to log in to do some disappointing op. |

I actually liked the hardcore scanning. Once you learned it, you instantly got the biggest cut of whatever loot your gang found. |
