Want to get more SP's so I can skill into more things, but since the game has become boring I wan't to do it passively. I want to buy an ISK passive booster.

Yes, CCP used their one and only income stream to start building three more games. Each of those games will eventually need to generate more revenue than it costs them to develop and maintain. CCP profits are not very high because R&D is eating into the profits they do generate. Their income statements are posted on their corporate site for all to see.

Sales of Aurum and virtual items are how CCP makes money off of DUST. Once the player market is added to DUST then all items purchased using Aurum should be able to be sold to other players for ISK. This will allow players that can't or don't want to spend real money to have access to all items, but those items will have been initially acquired by spending real money.

This is the same model used by PLEX in EVE and it can totally work here.

It just requires patience.

Yes it is Pay to win, but as far as CCP is consent and all the Fanboys-this is our game-HTFU-kids, it is not.

It is everything else except that ;

- Pay to have an Advantage
- Pay to get a head
- Pay to keep Dust 514 alive
- Pocket money for CCP employees
- Pay to catch up with other players
- A feature for new players
- A necessary thing to reduce the SP gap
- Extra revenue to maintain the servers

ANYTHING else.. except what it truly is.

In Eve a plex is $15, it'll get your close to 500,000,000 Eve ISK

Lets take the Omega Booster at $32.

You can buy 2x Plexes for $30 and get around 1 billion ISK. The going rate is about 10:1 when converting Dust/Eve ISK.

So you are roughly looking at 100,000,000 Dust ISK for an Omega Booster and 50,000,000 regular booster.

It is thousands of other ways to earn revenue, but CCP have chosen the greedy one without future. Games that follow the P2W model don't last longer than a couple of years, yeah, lots of cash in the mean time... but a quick dead after that.

When I see a real example of P2W I'll start to get worried about that issue. So far, I see ridiculous claims by hysteric idiots.

That pic actually has too much character.

So over the course of six months, someone using both of the Omega Boosters would have attained 9,318,400 SP more than someone who did not have any boosters at all for that duration. Do with the information what you will, but I for one think that this is a bit ridiculous.

The best F2P games I've seen have all made it so money saves time.
I.e. You spend money to make things in game go quicker.
Which boosters do, and I'm ok with that.

Item for item trading needs to happen sooner than later.

It does not have to be tied to EVE just yet. But honestly what is preventing the implementation to trade uneeded items or boosters for other items or isk.

I can not get a booster without paying for it with using Aurum.

Before you say a "booster is not gear" why do I have to go to my character to activate it?

Well trolling Sherlock you can cry about the booster all you like... but it still isn't pay to win. It's pay to progress a bit faster in SP and skill development.

Anyone with half a brain realizes that saving time progressing has value but that whether or not you pay you will still be able to progress and max out whatever skills you like.

So, troll, cry, pretend you are too stupid to understand, or whatever you like.

Does paying make a difference? Sure. Can you still do everything in the game without paying? Sure.

And, finally, for the terminally stupid, a booster has no direct influence on your combat. You know, the part where people are actually worried about winning.

Pay to win would be only being able to purchase something with aur and it not being availablemanywhere else, boosters are how they make money dude chill, its not that serious.
