F*ck CCP. This crap should have been designed, tested and finalized over a year ago. This is small balancing crap that a two year old could have devised. We're not even talking about the programing. We're talking about a development strategy GÇö five or so guys sitting in a room saying, "what would happen ifGǪ"
This is what you grt ehen you hand development over to China. A communist country that pushes its population down into group think, hive mind mentality. |

This whole monthly patch process is actually turning out to be a detriment to the players because it seems like patches are getting smaller and smaller with little to no actual content. Everything is just fixes. Fixes, tweaks, more fixes, more bugs appear which need more fixes, then more tweaks and some more fixes and then those fixes in turn break 10 other things. This project is turning into a disaster
It's important to remember that CCP stated that they would -try- to get these features out by those times. I'm pretty sure they don't want another account of Tactical Assault Rifles, Flaylocks and Murder Taxi's so they're going to work out all of those kinks from the get go.
As far as rebalance taking years, bear in mind that CCP Iceland has spent the past -two years- working on re-balancing every single ship in the game as well as a few terrible mechanics we've had to deal with for far longer and they're still not done.
It requires patience and honestly, waiting six months or however long is a small price to pay for something to work flawlessly upon implementation which is something CCP Iceland has seemed to master as of recently (props to CCP Fozzie for that). It's just going to take time. |

That's not really a problem imo, the real problem is : how many guys are working on Dust 514 right now? Whatever the answer is , they're probably way too few. |

MAJOR ISSUES
Fix the bloody PC lag, its attrocious. I mean for your 'End game' content having nothing but lag fest matches which are basically won or lost on the back of it is pathetic. You need to fix this or the guys who have put the hours in are gonna leave.
Fix tanks now. These guys have had the rough end of the stick for well over 50% of the time since DUST went live. Tankers are dropping left and right, surely the stats will show that fix it, or lose a decnt proportion of your player base.
Bring out the side arms at least. Lets face it, those of us who have been maxing weapons out have done, and need another objective to spec into, it really is getting stale.
Actually try and fix the match making.
OMEGA Boosters to be reduced. We have seen the post its more cost effective running the normal ones, at least bring it inline. 65K AUR is a joke for a monthly consumable.
**** squad finder if im honest, the dungeon finder is what killed WoW, by taking all interaction with other players out. I mean who even thought that was an imperitive option?!? You should just give them a daily update on all Corp progress or something, let them pick their selves. Otherwise its all going to be automated and people wont talk to each other so whats the point? I mean its not going to take into consideration peoples race and faction choices isit? So its gonna lump me with caldari scum 9/10. Great.
I relaise you lot have 20 'working days' in between patches but its crunch time, you have GTA V going online tonight, you have FF14 Beta, the BF4 beta hitting up these are all BIG hitters.. If you dont push something out or a bunch of small fixes then expect to lose another 50% of your player base. I honestly wish i was joking. FF14 released last month, my trial period is about to run out and I don't think I'll end up subscribing to it. It can be fun sure but I just don't have the time to play it, and if I'm not playing it I see no point in paying for it, dust has an advantage in that regard, however much we play other games instead of this one we can jump back in at any time and start playing again, for no cost. While I expect GTAO to be fun I imagine it might not stay fun forever, we'll see though. As for BF4 I expect it will be the same experience as BF3 for me, it'll catch my attention for a couple of months but I will slowly and steadily grow bored of it. |

Regardless of that, my focus is on the fact that the price of boosters is really a trivial community concern compared to the mountain of other concerns which are being completely ignored by the CPM.
The CPM seem to have disregarded the community in all areas except where their own priorities intersect, such as the price of Boosters. This is not how community representatives are supposed to conduct themselves.
They need to leave their personal agendas at the door, when they step into their official capacity as our representatives. |

Thats all well and good, but at the end of the day the titles i listed have and will continue to have an adverse effect on our user base. I dont blame them either, well polished multi million dollar game VS broken promises/broken game its a no brainer. Even if just for'mean time' until you get bored, your still loosing players that might not return. What i detailed out should be fixed to allieviate this issue and actually make people want to play.

Been hoping that each patch since uprising would fix the bug that makes DS turrets unbearable for gunners. Where they cannot aim anywhere near the lower front of the ship anymore without gun being ripped from their hand.
Thought it'd be in the vehicle rework of 1.4 then 1.5 then 1.6 Now 1.7 or later.
But this bug hasn't even been acknowledged yet. So really, nobody will want to gun in a dropship for a year because of one silly bug? GG |

This is not how community representatives are supposed to conduct themselves. They need to leave their personal agendas at the door, when they step into their official capacity as our representatives.
See, funny thing is that the community has this misrepresentation of what the CPM actually is - they're not really there to listen to the community they're there to sanity check CCP's design philosophies before they're released to ensure that they're not doing something insane. The success of that is determined by how willing CCP is to listen.
The CPM isn't actually there to talk with the community, just represent them. What they provide to CCP is what can be assumed as the greater good for the majority of players - that doesn't necessarily mean they have to be active within the community to accomplish that but it certainly helps.
But, to put it bluntly, when you're being **** on by developers and the community alike it's not surprising that many of the CSM/CPM go into hiding and just not talk to anyone. They still do their job and pretty effectively, I might add.
Another misconception is that the CPM -has- to be active in the community or more specifically on the forums. They posted up their contact details for you to get in touch with them so if you have an issue you feel needs brought up, present it to them! That's exactly what I did and I got far better a response than I originally had prepared myself for. It's not always a battle to get what you want and as with all things in life you'll catch more flies with honey.
The Council Chambers sub-forum is a great place to get up to date on what exactly the CPM is doing, Hans actually updates frequently and it's good to read over what is posted even if it's sparse information that you might disagree with.

Agreed, I've not spend anything since buying the vet pack (which was great btw). I would like some heavy fixes and content updates along with new packs before I spend more on this game. Don't take me wrong, I want to spend money on this game, just give me a reason to do so CCP! |
