^--all pretty thoughtful posters. Even when I disagree with them, they all seem reasonable and they tend to avoid knee-jerk reactions. |

I was just linking the names really...
Arkena, if you're unaware, kicked off the long-running super thread about Armor and Shield balancing iirc. Not all of the replies from Arkena are super-analytical, but they're responsible for a fair chunk of analysis of some of our game systems.
Cosgar was a frequent poster when looking at suit balancing across logi-frames, and I think his posts played a role in the PG finally getting adjusted on the Amarr Logistics frame (as well as the extra low slot). Also important was his stressing calm in light of what the actual issues with Caldari logis were and resisting the idea (such as IWS had) to restrict the entire role to sidearms.
KAGEHOSHI is a big idea person, and he's posted all sorts of idea for improving both small and large aspects of the game. You'll find him replying in most non-stupid feedback topics as well.
Cross Atu has a careful and measured analysis of most topics he chooses to comment on, though his ideas tend to get buried in larger topics instead of making his own posts for them like KAGEHOSHI.
I mentioned all of them because they represent the strengths of the Dust community to me. They're not fanboys, and they're not non-stop QQers either. They present rational arguments for issues with the game systems and frequently back up their claims with logic, numbers, other resources, and usually without "too much" snark (Cross is the only person I've seen 100% even/calm seemingly in 100% of his posts). They have typically broader perspectives and aren't overly invested in seeing their particular fits succeed over the concepts of balance. |

Oh, hey. Thanks for the shout-out GÇô IGÇÖd like to add my thoughts to your list:
Firstly, I think Hans/Heinrich Jagerblitzen deserves to be on that list. He doesnGÇÖt spend much of his time forum warrioring, but I think a lot of people underestimate what he brings to the table in the current iteration of the CPM. IGÇÖm bringing the CPM into this because really thatGÇÖs what the GÇÿcommunity voiceGÇÖ is meant to be. In my semi-frequent chats on Skype with Hans heGÇÖs demonstrated repeatedly that he understands many issues very well. HeGÇÖs familiar with community concerns as well as the development process, and probably has more experience with this kind of thing than anyone else. You might not see Hans much on the forums but I can assure you heGÇÖs there.
Cross Atu is, imo, the most underappreciated poster on the forums. HeGÇÖs one of the few who really stick to feedback/requests GÇô I confess that I occasionally indulge myself in some GD trolling GÇô and as you noted, heGÇÖs always GÇÿ100% even/calmGÇÖ. I think the reason for his relatively low visibility and like count is that his posts tend to get lost in the depths of megathreads. Over the course of my own shields/armour megathread Cross was one of the most active posters, analysing responses intelligently and in depth frequently.
KAGEHOSHI Horned Wolf is pretty fantastic when talking about the UI in particular. HeGÇÖs full of ideas of course, and I have to say I love half of his ideas, but when talking about the UI and little quality of life improvements heGÇÖs at his best imho. There arenGÇÖt many others who bother with half the stuff he points out.
CosgarGǪ I worry that heGÇÖs a little burnt out. The so-called GÇÿAR514GÇÖ seems to have killed most of his faith in this game, and I think heGÇÖs uninstalled, though he still lurks on the forums a lot. I have quite a bit of respect for his logisuit debates as well.
As for me, thanks for putting me on your list. Gave me a warm fuzzy feeling. But of all the posts to linkGǪ

No problem. ...and yeah, I probably should've looked for some more representative posts...
I think there's a subjective element here of course, and I don't skype with CPM (and I'm only erratically in IRC), so I'm less acquainted with Jagerblitzen compared to forum regulars I see having more of an impact in feedback threads.
I can hardly blame Cosgar (or anyone) for getting a bit burned out. I think we all thought a lot of content at Fanfest would be here quicker, and I think most of us get frustrated with how responsive we may feel CCP is/isn't. I expected a more prompt response to the AA and AR-dominance issues of the current game myself. The situation can seem more dire if you're plugging away in feedback with few responses too.
Hopefully some of that does get addressed soonish, as a another month of those AR-hijinks seems like a chore at the moment. |

I like many of the others mentioned but sometimes the ideas get in the way of analysis and figuring out what effects they would have on the game. These two seem pretty fair minded about most issues in my opinion. |

Cosgar.
As a Logibro on my main, his voice is definitely one of reason. I'm all for balance but far too many people jump the gun and go straight for the nerf bat. Cosgar has some excellent ideas and, whilst sometimes a little rough around the edges, is often very well-spoken in his posts. |

Cosgar I'd vote each of these gentlemen into the CPM. How did you forget Aeon Amadi?
For clarity, while I may not always agree with their opinions I've seen enough of their posts to understand that they have the best interest of Dust at heart. These guys are all pretty level headed. That's a rare commodity in these parts.

I came in after the OP edit, saw those five names and I thought: "That's quite the formidable CPM1 lineup."
I've disagreed with them over some things but hey, if they won't stand for their own ideas what kind of voice are they?
But if we're talking purely 'reasonable', as much as I would like to nominate Imperfects PR, I'd definitely agree with the others about Cross. He's like a beacon in the darkness of these forums sometimes, coming in with a clear head in the most tempestuous arguments.
I need to learn his art of only typing when necessary, but I doubt I'll ever master it, unless I get a respec to wipe my forum warrior skills.
