What ever you want to believe ...CCP have plenty of experience dealing with hackers, so i don't think that will be a problem. And in case you didn't notice, the tranquility server have been under attack few times and the Dust server was affected by the attacks, it have also been few PSN security vulnerabilities that already have been exploited. I had one of my PSN accounts hack, and was because a Dust 514 security risk.

At least in the PC is a control environment, in which CCP can take measures to prevent things like this from happening.

There is a big difference between running an aimbot in a random FPS and hacking server-side numbers in a game like EVE. CCP has absolutely no experience whatsoever combating client-side hacks, and would have no way to police it when all accounts are free.

PS4 is basically a PC, and 64 or even 100+ battles will be a possibility smooth as silk on the PS4 specs. PS4 and XbONE will have the playerbase, specs and network available to run DUST like CCP has envisioned DUST to run. Have patience though people, it is not a matter of if, it is when. CCP is not above telling it's customers to "UPGRADE BYATCH" because they have done it in EVE multiple times with PC specs (removal of classic client anyone) and that is why I know DUST will be on the next gen consoles. And you know what, their customers just go ahead and upgrade. Because their dream is my dream and it is your dream and those people somewhere over theres dream. DUST will live on. Just like you and I will die.

That said, it can't be that difficult to do a port to a more powerful platform of a game based on the Unreal engine and using art assets that are (if they are using CCP's normal art processes) built in high detail and then downsampled for the target platform.

Yes and even with the rapid update the is still now new content :-/. Don't get me wrong, the game makes progress from the system side, but new stuff like suits, weapons etc. are very rare. We get one map and the snow version right?
