I have this small alcove in the my cell carved out with a small marble statuette of St Anoyia, I suppose most often before battle I will pray to her with Satja, its not a big room, which suits me just fine since I cannot stand the wide open spaces of the cathedrals anymore, its quiet and peaceful. A place of thoughtfulness and solitude. I mostly begin with catechisms of protection or deliverance , though I don't pray for myself much art all these days. I tend to pray for her sake. She is only Mortal after all....
Either that or I spend my time in the Hangars working with the engineers on the units armoured vehicle pools. Getting them ready for combat, helping design more adaptable module interfaces and internal fixtures. The new Amarr designs are good, not ready yet for open warfare with such heavily armed Gallentean and Caldari templates, but they suffice for combat against Mortals. |

It's amazing what they teach you in the templar program advance classes :-D That's true, but they also teach us to pick up on that sort of thing. Damn First Gen's are more crafty that I had originally thought.
Not to mention Satja is much quicker and more sensitive to intrusions than I am, I'm surprised she never picked you up. |

You would be surprised to know how useful having multiple minds is. Hardly. You are unstable, dangerous, and woefully unpredictable. The perfect clone is the obedient and stable clone. 3rd Gens like myself are good, but 4th or 5th Gen are vastly superior. |

No. I am simply enlightened by the grace of God. Pure Heresy.... |

Damus Trifarn wrote:I usually put Sebiestor tribal designs on my first to be deployed dropsuit, and then I go to the deck and draw the planet, contemplating what my fiance back home in the hospital would think of living on the planet.
As the battles went on, I became frustrated with my drawing utensils; they were always of terrible quality and ruined whatever Matari paper I had with me. This led to me always asking a random merc for a pen and seeing what kind he had. I've seen some crazy styles and inks that I never dreamed possible (seriously, how many variations of a pen can the universe make?) The one I use now, though, is a gold plated Amarrian pen with a quill tip design. I couldn't help but tinker around with it, but it is still of the same appearance. It is quite ironic when I think of it; a piece of Minmatar paper and a pen made by the Amarr has come together to help me make the most beautiful works of art.
Apologies for getting sentimental; my solace in war has been drawing, so I tend to talk a lot about it when I get the chance.
I find hope in that comment, that our people will not forever be at odds. |

Yun Hee Ryeon wrote:steadyhand amarr wrote::( what a lonly way to live im sure one day we can find a way live under one banner That is largely what the Gallente wanted, and thought, and seemingly still think, templar. We are comfortable with our own ways of life, our own ways of being, our own communities. We do not find it any more lonely than we did when we were isolated on our homeworlds and far more literally alone. Certain of us are happy to trade with outsiders; others would prefer that we retreat into seclusion almost entirely. I personally understand the former group, but sympathize more with the latter. There are things we can learn from beyond our borders, but some lessons and beliefs, valid in their own contexts, are corrosive in ours. Gallentean individualism, which demands cultural liberalism, is a prime example. Its influence on our elites would make our nation an abusive plutocracy, and has done so before. The resulting tide of anger from the lower castes is what swept Tibus Heth into power. If we believe in the validity and integrity of our ancestors' ways of life, in its applicability and worth in our own existences, then we should seek to preserve those ways. We seek to preserve what we have, and to fend off those who would change us. We are a set of deeply conservative peoples. For my own part, I view the Achur faith as a jewel of insight, which the State shelters and protects. I would see the rest of human society crumble to dust and ashes before I let that jewel come to harm. That is who I am, templar, first and foremost: a defender of my culture and faith. That is honourable of you soldier. |

Strange situations give rise to odd grammar. There is only one of you, yet apparently there are at least two. The fact that this appears to be a result of your refusal to get a defective piece of hardware that is doing some of your thinking for you upgraded, thus placing yourself and those around you at risk, would be what designates you an idiot. I consider it less an insult than an observation. Apparently you have a sense of humor, at least. A pity it is coupled with a willingness to take cheap, and largely unjustified, rhetorical shots, but we can't have everything. Now, would you kindly get your blasted head fixed. Question mark, please. Also, I like it when they get feisty. I digress. I actually like having multiple personas. Mostly because they allow me to multi-task, mentally. Not only that, but they give me one unique ability. The ability to inhabit more than one clone body at a time. Impossible says I. Blasphemy says I. |
