I'd love to see either active modules based on suit type OR active modules based on racial.
For instance, a damage resist for heavies that keeps them from sprinting, but resists 30, 50, 70% damage at each tier. Lasts for 30 seconds, 2 minute cooldown. This is great for defending a large frontal attack from enemies and to scare people away when they run into one.
A nanite booster for logistics that improves the effects of nanohives, nanite injectors, and repair tools by 4x, 7x, 10x for each tier. Any equipment used by the player or within a certain radius is affected. lasts 45 seconds, 3 minute cooldown. This is most effective for pushing the front lines back or for defending an area. It also is a way for the logi to keep players alive and heal faster than the DPS output of most players.
A speed boost for assaults that gives the player unlimited stamina (unlimited melee, sprint, jumping), and increases movement speed by 20, 35, 50% for each tier. Lasts 15 seconds, 1 minute cooldown. This is for traversing the battlefield quickly or for using evasive tactics to avoid your opponent.
A cloaking device for scouts that allows the player to turn invisible as long as the player does not preform any of the following actions: sprinting, shooting, hacking, getting in a vehicle, using equipment, or using a melee attack. The only way to detect a cloaked scout is to use a scanner, or damage the player. Lasts for 30, 45, 60 seconds (or until the cloaking field is disrupted) for each tier, and has a cooldown of 30 seconds. This is mainly for getting past the enemy undetected, or for being more sneaky and effective as a sniper or nova knife specialist. |
