However, while CCP has said, (Even if I think it is idiotic to do so) they won't "segregate" the community by gear.
Stupid, yes, but of course it happens.
Try some STD Gal Med Frame with 2 plate, a STD repper and a basic light dmg mod.
Pair that fit with an AR and a SMG and your rocking.
Sad, I can beat my proto Cal Fit with my STD Gal fit HP wise.
But yeah, when a pub stomp happens, the smartest thing to do is to whip out your brick tanked Gal or Amarr med frame.
Or a kamikaze fit ranged riflemen.
For tanks... Just keep your ass moving. Don't try and pull a badass area pacification. Your paper right now, and everyone has lvl 5 prof proto scissors. Keep ducking out into friendly territory and hit the reps the moment you take damage.

Can I suggest you go to the tankers chatroom 'honey badger' and ask for a good fit. You could also squad up and shadow them and other tankers you come across in game. Assuming you're using a gunnlogi I would recommend 2 15% resist plates, Nitro, heavy shield extenders, 30% hardener and 2 power diagnostic systems for the regen.
When they're talking about going infantry and getting a profit just clear 500 war points with 5 or less deaths in skirmish or something and you'll have a decent payout. Use starter fits and everything is profit anyways.
I always smile when tankers pull the so expensive card. Main cost is proto turret and a few people use enforcers because they suck. My assault dropship hull alone cost just under 500K and a single proto small turret brings it to over 720k.
You just need to get a fit that works for you, keep mobile and invest isk/sp into your tank. Get rid of all installations and possible threats then move on to the next target. Avoid clearings and burst from cover to cover with your nitro.
Try not to take it to hard when/if you lose it. |

But I do get a lot of tips for providing orbitals with Eve.
When im running low on isk I just pull from our tax doll...... I play militia!!!  |
