Unless you do what I do and grab a proto compressed rail However, I'm one of the weird ones who never uses damage mods and instead makes a tank-based sniper fit, Minnie Assault Suits are my favorite for this as the ample PG/CPU plus the innate 1HP/S repair for armor means I can stack every slot with armor plating and shield extenders and not worry about sniper counter-fire, so... I almost never lose suits, even to headshots, and can duck behind cover and live to fight another day. I've never lost a Thale Besides, truth be told, due to the ridiculous rapid-fire capability of the Kali Proto Tac sniper rifle, and coupled with how ludicrously dead-stable it is with every follow-up shot, I've never needed damage mods, as you can slam a pair of tacticals into a head just as easily as you can headshot with a Charge, and you'll do more damage too...

I'm pissed that my sniper character really doesn't get more of a leg up with the sp investment. I'm all for the skills making the difference. I wish the militia fit would be far worse with the damage, bobbing, accuracy, RoF and speed.

Running 5 dmg mods is pointless, stacking makes it that way (10.00%, 8.69%, 5.71%, 2.83%, 1.06%, Total bonus: 31.34%), tho the total of 31% extra dmg is big, the CPU/PG and 2 slots used by the last 2 mods makes it pointless.

I also like to run gunner in my friends tank with a balacs equipt, no-one ever sees that **** coming

I thought I was hitting with around 528-ish HP...I didn't see the effective range % before I got him....with the 1 shot, not in the head
